Rating 69.0

The golf course at Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis winds through a series of freshwater and coastal dune lakes, naturally making water a prominent feature on the course. It comes into play on fifteen of the 18 holes. Besides the shimmering blue waters, the golf course is accented by the tall pines that blanket the softly rolling hills. The strategic placement of the greens and hazards require some careful maneuvering and accuracy. The course provides a fair challenge that is made all the more difficult by the distracting scenery, which includes views from most of the holes that stretch to the Gulf of Mexico. Golfers who are short on time have the option of a nine-hole round in the afternoons. In addition to the golf course, Seascape Resort also offers a grass driving range and two practice greens.

Disappointed

Not fun everything was not up to par. Very confusing course not marked gps made it difficult and told us to speed up when we had people in front of us and behind us. Sand traps on the green. Greens were very rough. Poor shape for a nice course. Will not return feel ripped off for $100

Unacceptable conditions

The coarse is very difficult to navigate and has no signs to help. The greens are in deplorable state with sand and black dead grass. The cart began telling us we were out of time, even though we were right behind a group of people, we didn’t even get to play the last 3 holes. This was a complete disappointment.

Cheap for Florida

The course was not good compared to courses we usually play at home (we play cheaper courses). A lot of the greens had a bunch of burnt spots on them that made putting very hard. The course layout it good just wish that the greens were in a halfway decent shape.

Well......

My beautiful wife and I were in the area for a little vacation. I decided to play this course cause I've seen it previously on trips. I read the reviews but I wanted to play despite of how bad they were. Well...it's really a beat up track, some of the greens were in good shape. And some were trashed out to a point were you couldn't even putt. Had to move the ball to a better line. The layout is jinky, with hole weaving through this condo complex on the back nine. I just can't play this one again.

Could be a nice course

The Tee boxes were mostly sand,, fairways had lots of bare spots most greens were poor to fair. Most of the range balls looked like they were10 years old and finally you could only hit to160 yards at the range.

Wont be back

This course is a course that needs major tlc... like bad, no grass is good, the entire thing is sand. You can hit a ball down the middle of the fairway and be in sand because the grass is in such poor condition. You can find better courses for not much more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The unmaintained, pothole parking lot should have been my first clue. The clubhouse should have been my second and the bathroom my third! The tile ceilings are falling in above the bar, the urinals haven't been brushed in so long the mold winks at you while you urinate and the rest of it follows suit. The tee boxes were uneven, unmaintained and some didn't even have markers. The fairways were essentially bunkers. The rough was either sand or weeds that hadn't been mowed in weeks and were flowering. The bunkers were mud and roots (no sand in them). The greens were anything but green, black mostly with aeration potholes, burnt up, dead and otherwise un-puttable. The staff was friendly, that was about the only plus. This is a $15 a round golf course in the middle of a corn field not a beach resort golf club. We had a 5 some 2 groups in front of us so we waited on EVERY hole...they wouldn't let anyone play through and there wasn't a marshal on the course. The GPS complained after every hole on the back 9 that we were behind pace, yet we chatted with the 4 some in front of us on most tee boxes since they were waiting on the 5 some. It's Spring Break, the course was packed and there wasn't a beverage cart either, although the pro did warn us before we left the clubhouse, so that was nice. The bathrooms on the course needed special attention, they were worse than the clubhouse. We saw the cleaning crew go in there, not exactly sure what they did, but they were in there for 15 minutes...

Anyway, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The 2 holes you can see from 98 are the only 2 maintained holes on the course! Be careful on #16, par 3. The retention wall for the peninsula green is literally falling into the pond on the back side and is very dangerous and you wouldn't know it from the tee box. Wish I took pictures, but I leave my phone in the car.

Nice layout; wish they would fix it up

We like this course, but it is not kept up well, with cart paths falling apart, dirty facilities, and some poor greens. It is cheap for the area, and the overall layout is really nice. It doesn't seem like it would take that much to get it back up to reasonable condition. So we still like playing here, but you have to hope that the owners would take some pride in it and put more into upkeep.

worst

By far the worst golf course I have ever played, they keep the two holes by the road in decent condition to sucker you in, but the rest of the course is absolutely awful. Greens are nearly all dirt, not even worth putting. Tee boxes are bare and not remotely flat. Every bridge you felt as though the cart was going to break through. I could go on and on, but not worth $20 much less the $70 we paid.

You get what you pay for

Augusta this is not. But it is a great value round. I paid half of what I paid for my other two rounds in this area during vacation week. It is in the worst shape by far BUT it is very playable. You will find some bare spots on fairways and greens but everything is mowed and trimmed to be as consistent as possible. The staff was the BEST of any of the courses that week. Friendly and inviting. And that did help offset some of the on course issues. Paired with 3 strangers who were good people and made good conversation was also a plus. I am a single digit handicap who loves to make friends and have good conversation and this course had that. I will go back when in the area.
