About

Holes 18
Type Resort
Par 70
Length 6148 yards
Slope 125
Rating 69.0

The golf course at Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis winds through a series of freshwater and coastal dune lakes, naturally making water a prominent feature on the course. It comes into play on fifteen of the 18 holes. Besides the shimmering blue waters, the golf course is accented by the tall pines that blanket the softly rolling hills. The strategic placement of the greens and hazards require some careful maneuvering and accuracy. The course provides a fair challenge that is made all the more difficult by the distracting scenery, which includes views from most of the holes that stretch to the Gulf of Mexico. Golfers who are short on time have the option of a nine-hole round in the afternoons. In addition to the golf course, Seascape Resort also offers a grass driving range and two practice greens.

Poor quality

This course is not maintained, there are no markers from hole to hole, the greens and tee boxes were in terrible condition. Would not play here again. Save your time and money.

Save Your Money

The worst course I’ve played in Florida. No grass on the tee boxes, no numbers identifying this horribly laid out course. From hole 1 to hole 18 our group was questioning the location of every hole. (Minus 1&10 because they were next to the club house.

The greens were horrible and if they had grass it needed to be cut.

Save your money for the better courses.

Course did not meet expectations

My group had never played at the course previously, the layout from the first hole to the last was confusing and we were not warned. (I should of investigated the course better)

The majority of tee boxes lacked the hole numbers or grass normally associated with a tee box.The greens were horrible and if grass was present it needed to be cut.

I realize the course needs to be maintained but groundskeepers giving a tutorial on how to cut grass when our group is about to tee off at hole 10 or blowing dirt and debris towards our group at 16 was a bit much.

If the golf course was anywhere else except Florida, they would not get $60.00 for this poorly maintained golf facility.

Needs improvement

Poor

Started thunder storming when we were on the 6th hole. Went to the front desk to ask for a rain check but he said they didn’t do them because even though I paid for 18 holes the price was half off what it normally is so it’s basically the same as playing 9… makes sense why this course has a crappy rating!

Shameful Neglect

I have played this course for over 40 years and watching the pathetic indifference of the neglectful resort owners has been sad.

Over the years they have scrambled the holes, shortened and neutered some of the best, most challenging holes in the area and, here lately, simply let the course run to rot. I won't bother to post the pictures of the muddy, diseased "greens" (shouldn't they BE green?)

The pattern of neglect by the owners has come full circle. They neglected the course so they could rip it out and put in just what Miramar Beach needs more of... More Condos! Coming soon, this abused and neglected course will be dug up, paved over and shortened to a par 3/mini golf course.

Just waiting for the slingshot ride and Bubba Gump shrimp house to open at the 18th green next.

Gawd awful!

Most greens were barely puttable. A fair portion of the course needed to be mowed. Nice, short layout but not really in playable condition. Find someplace else.

Good Value

I thought the course was a very good value. The layout was fair and easy to navigate, even without prior course knowledge. The fairways were in good shape. The only issue were the greens. Lots of diseased greens, especially on the front 9. Pace of play was good. I breezed through the front 9 but then got stuck on the back. That was fine, I joined another twosome and played at a decent pace. For the money, I think it is a good course. Just be mindful of the diseased greens on your putts.

Not too bad!!!

Most fairways are beautiful!!! The greens are horrible. Most are diseased and black but surprisingly I putted really well.

Greens are real slow. The lack of signage is a problem for first timers. Holes are not marked tee boxes are sometimes confusing. The GPS on the carts is surprising. Could use a clubhouse makeover. Looks almost abandoned . Great value golf course.

Not Recommended

Even if you’re a leisurely golfer, I would look elsewhere to play. This course is in terrible shape. It appears to have been a nice course at one time but it’s obviously not being taken care of now. Tee box footing is poor, greens are in terrible condition and the cart paths have some dangerous drop offs where, if you’re not paying attention, you can cause some serious damage to the cart and/or your person. If you decide to ignore this review and play anyway, I’d recommend practicing in a cow pasture first. Throw down some old shag rugs from the 70s to practice your putting. Then, enjoy your $60 putt putt and go cart adventure (PS...not even worth the $30 hot deal...just sayin’).

Overall good course conditions.

Everything from cart attendants to check in & bar @ the turn was good. A few tee boxes were sandy but had just enough patches of grass. Fairways were really nice, a few dull spots on a few greens but still puttable. Some forward tee box markers were missing, but we have played the course before, so we had an idea where they should have been.

Seems to be let go..

Staff was nice and accommodating. Greens were pretty beat up unfortunately. Pretty fun layout. Not the longest course but still plenty of holes you can use your driver. Would play again considering the prices of other courses around tend to be at least almost twice the price but still feel it should be cheaper for what you get.
