Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis
About
The golf course at Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis winds through a series of freshwater and coastal dune lakes, naturally making water a prominent feature on the course. It comes into play on fifteen of the 18 holes. Besides the shimmering blue waters, the golf course is accented by the tall pines that blanket the softly rolling hills. The strategic placement of the greens and hazards require some careful maneuvering and accuracy. The course provides a fair challenge that is made all the more difficult by the distracting scenery, which includes views from most of the holes that stretch to the Gulf of Mexico. Golfers who are short on time have the option of a nine-hole round in the afternoons. In addition to the golf course, Seascape Resort also offers a grass driving range and two practice greens.

Seascape golf
No warning about the greens under construction till after I’d paid my greens. All but two looked like a disease has killed ALL the grass but a few patches. The clubhouse couldn’t put a simple grip on my putter but referred me to the nearest Edwin Watts. Not what I’d hoped for in a “luxury” golf experience.
Bad Greens
The greens had been aerated and sanded 2 weeks prior to play (we had been notified of such) but half of them were not much more than mud; they really need to be replaced but time will tell, i guess. Otherwise, the course is interesting with placement a key on about 30% of the holes. 18 was a little wonky though being a very short par 4.

greens and fairways!!,
regardless of other issues, most courses are 'playable' it the greens and fairways are maintained. Seascape, (as in see (e)scape exit and take it!) has not maintained greens OR fairways OR anything else for that matter...
several options at same or better rates where golf courses at least try to give the customer value .. this owner needs to be barred from owning any courses...( stupefying seascape is under the same management as emerald bay, which is a great course in great condition)... you would think there would be a standard to uphold .. but NOT!
This course at the moment is not worth playing for FREE!to
sadder, because the layout is not bad and has potential to be a great home course, but evidently it seems the owner is not going to put any significant investment towards improving the course.
If it were an ailing animal, you would shoot it to put it out of it's misery.
This course is in horrible condition
I have played this course many times over the past 11 years and it seems to get worse every year. Today about half the greens have little to almost no grass, the bunkers are in very poor condition, several sections of the concrete cart path are cracked and all broken up and several tees are mounded and far from level plus on one hole there were no senior or ladies tee markers. The wooden barrier around one tee and one green are falling in and there are several washed out spots. I heard they recently aerified the course for the first time in 3 YEARS! There is zero evidence they are doing anything to improve the course conditions. Nothing short of putting sod on the greens will improve the greens. DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE! pay some more and play a better conditioned course. This course is just across the highway from me and I had my best round ever on this course and it is really disappointing they are doing nothing to improve this course.
Horrendous Greens
My brother and I are locals and decided to play today at Seascape. The greens were horrible, muddy clay, sand, light grass and heavy grass it was all mixed together and made putting a nightmare. If it is going to be that bad I wish we would have been told upfront.
Wide open
Enjoyed the fast pace several greens not ready yet but other than that good course
Probably the worst course I’ve played ever
The first green was full sand, might as well stay on the beach and putt there. Most other greens were decent but still full of sand and no grass. Definitely not worth greens fees. Go across the street and pay an extra $15 for a real golf course. I wouldn’t recommend this course to anybody.
Their greens were terrible
Was very disappointed at the shape the course greens were. I played with a gentleman from Maryland and a husband & wife from Missouri and they were disappointed as well!
Friendly staff. Poor conditions.
Very friendly staff. Course in poor condition. Most of the greens were unplayable. Very convenient location, but course needs a lot of work.
Not moneys worth
This's a terrible course. None of green are in good condition you're basically putting on dirt. I play this course sometimes just to get out but never seen it this bad, thanks!
Great value and challenging course.
Full disclosure we own in Ariel Dunes, and have played this course a few times. Very good course and they are doing a fine job of maintaining. Fairways and tee boxes were good, particularly considering the music event.
Only issue is the greens, very rough. However the volume of rain the past few weeks no doubt has affected them.
Great experience, love the mix of front and back 9.
Close to where we stayed
Fairways were ok but greens had a fungi growing on them.
They gave a $10 discount. Golf carts are new with GPS. Sand traps were in good shape. Oops
Terrible Greens
The Greens were in awful shape. Mostly dead. No way you can putt on these greens. Will not recommend anyone playing here until the greens are replaced. Now we know why it is so cheap compared to other courses in the area.
