Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis
About
The golf course at Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis winds through a series of freshwater and coastal dune lakes, naturally making water a prominent feature on the course. It comes into play on fifteen of the 18 holes. Besides the shimmering blue waters, the golf course is accented by the tall pines that blanket the softly rolling hills. The strategic placement of the greens and hazards require some careful maneuvering and accuracy. The course provides a fair challenge that is made all the more difficult by the distracting scenery, which includes views from most of the holes that stretch to the Gulf of Mexico. Golfers who are short on time have the option of a nine-hole round in the afternoons. In addition to the golf course, Seascape Resort also offers a grass driving range and two practice greens.

Worst condition ever
I have played this course many times and it has never looked this bad. The greens were mud and sand which were completely un-puttable. Tee boxes were more like sand bunkers and not playable at all. Do not waste your money!! Either pay the extra money for other courses or go to fwb or niceville.
Challenging
A little rough but that just makes it more challenging to me.
Going back again this week.
Staff was incredibly friendly.
Greens are in pretty rough shape
Greens were so bad you couldn’t putt on them for the most part. Fairways were not in great shape. Course needs a lot of attention and shouldn’t be charging $35..I wouldn’t pay $15 to play there.
$10 greens fee would be too much
To say this course was in awful condition would be a compliment. Only the back 9 was open and yet the fee was unchanged. Only two greens on the back were puttable. On the rest you just need to pick up. Pro was indifferent about the conditions saying that basically “what do you expect for $39?”. The owner of this course, who also owns Emerald Bay, should be embarrassed. They need to shut this place down and not reopen until there is a decent course on which to play. At the very least Golf Now should be clear about the conditions and the clubhouse attendant should explain just how bad it is before allowing people to pay.
Save Your Money- Go Play Rocky Bayou!
Had a lengthy review of course and staff, GN timed me out!! Play here at your own risk of disappointment :( We made it thru 5 holes before the lack of grass on the tee boxes and the hard-baked mud 'greens' wiped out our anticipation of playing here again. We returned to the club house, and with much skulking deliberation, the desk clerk or 'pro' reluctantly gave us a less than half refund, claiming there were a few rough patches out there 'due to the winter', "But no one's ever asked for a refund before!". Try it down the road, when they've had a chance to reclaim the greens and tees, as it really is a fun track, but definitely ask about the course conditions before you lay down your card. In the meantime, go visit the awesome, VERY friendly staff at Rocky Bayou. It's much cheaper, the course and greens are in great condition, and you'll definitely enjoy your round there! Peace ya'll!
Seascape golf
This was the worst conditioned golf course I have ever played. Only 3 of the greens were remotely puttable. Most had large patches of dirt for the surface. Couldn't get approach shots to hold. Poor signage as to where the holes were located. Basically it wasn't worth paying $10 let alone $59.00. My other 2 playing partners agree completely with this review
Greens are horrible
Most of the greens are horrible, cracked ground and no grass. I have never seen it this bad and I have played here 10 times in the past. The rates are not that much lower than the good courses. Plus they charge $10 for a small bucket of balls, maybe 40 in the bucket. Half the stalls in the men's bathroom are out of order. I think they are close to closing the course and putting in condos. I feel sorry for the tourist that pay the full rate and are surprised.
Not worth for money
It rained and there is no rain check for this course. Green condition is bad. I don’t understand how they charge this much for such condition.
Not worth it for the price.
For being a sister course to Emerald Bay, you wouldn't know it aside from the words on the carts. More like a red headed step stepsister. Most of the greens were completely mud with a couple patches of grass which really makes for a lovely putting experience. Most of the cart paths were under 5 inches of standing water and a majority of the bunkers looked like swimming pools.
Worst greens you'll ever see
Played March 29 while on vacation to the area. I've never seen a green as bad as the first hole and there were plenty others where maybe half of the green was playable. Not even a mention of the conditions in the clubhouse where they gladly accepted my greens fee.
I won't be back and I'd strongly suggest others look elsewhere for a round when in the area.
Must be going under
Seaacape has always been the tourist trap golf course in the area but it’s never been this bad... 3/4 of the greens had no grass at all, 3/4 or the t-boxes were sand traps... they’ve clearly given up. We’ve played Seaacape about 200 times since we moved here in 04... sorry to say this was our last.
Good course
Great course first time playing there. Some greens were not so green but overall good course and great layout. challenging
Used to be nice
Been coming to destin for almost 20 years and always play this course as a warmup. Couldn't believet how the conditions have down hill. Almost all greens were mostly rolled dirt and it was impossible to tell the difference between the rough and fairway. All weeds and sand. Definitely will not be back.
Not to bad of a course. The issue was the greens. Terrible condition but have potential.
