The golf course at Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis winds through a series of freshwater and coastal dune lakes, naturally making water a prominent feature on the course. It comes into play on fifteen of the 18 holes. Besides the shimmering blue waters, the golf course is accented by the tall pines that blanket the softly rolling hills. The strategic placement of the greens and hazards require some careful maneuvering and accuracy. The course provides a fair challenge that is made all the more difficult by the distracting scenery, which includes views from most of the holes that stretch to the Gulf of Mexico. Golfers who are short on time have the option of a nine-hole round in the afternoons. In addition to the golf course, Seascape Resort also offers a grass driving range and two practice greens.

Much Improvement

The staff at Seascape has done a great job of improving the playing conditions. Though there still is a long ways to go . The greens have really improved. Great place for advanced players to go work on there game . Layout is excellent. Water and sand challenges big time. Perfect for beginners , couples , and families. Bag crew do a great job , and the best golf carts in Destin .

I miss the 18 hoke layout but it still a great place for a quick 9 holes. The greens are better than in the past . It would be great if they offered a discount for a second 9 holes and the rough makes it difficult to find your ball.

A little rough

Clearly, this course is in a state of transition. They’ve reduced it to only 9 holes as a new condo has claimed the front 9 and the holes are not marked out very well. This was the first time we played here and got delayed because we didn’t have clear direction to the 13th tee box. Some holes were very beautiful and challenging, and well laid out. Most of the course fairways and greens were in poor condition, but playable. The golf cart paths were broken up and very rough. Just be prepared when you play here for a few challenges. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and drinks were available at the bar inside with again, a very helpful and courteous server.

Awful - do not play here

I shoot in the 90s so I’m not being a snob; I’m not even that good obviously. This course sucks! Tee boxes are weeds, greens are dying, not a single hole even has a marker. Wouldn’t go back for free…. Don’t bother wasting your time with this course
