Old Padeswood Golf Club

The course was lovely. Had its challenges as you would expect. Disappointed with the group in front. They were part of a society, 4 ball and in buggies but we as a 2 ball had to wait on every hole whilst they spent an age looking for lost balls. No course knowledge whatsoever.

Second time playing here and won’t be my last. First few holes use the slopes and hills really well. While the middle section is quite flat good use of dog legs to what could otherwise be quite a boring stretch. Last two holes really fun which you are unlikely to see anywhere outside of north Wales.

What a course, first 5 holes are amazing, definitely need to think about where to hit your tee shots. The tree lined middle holes are a challenge with holes turning in both directions. The green are true and well maintained. The course would appeal to all standards of golfer. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return.

We enjoyed the day at Old padeswood the pro was very friendly and chatted about the course. We found the course in good condition nice fairways the greens though true could have been a bit faster. We both thought the course was a bit easy from the yellow tees but there was a lot of run on the tee shots. A couple of holes had blind shots into the greens but if you played it regular you would know where to place your shots.

course is in fantastic condition greens have just been seeded so a couple of weeks they will b amazing staff r brilliant one of the wheels of my trolley broke a staff member lent me his trolley fantastic of him nice setting for a drink after your round recommend this course for a good day out

Course was in great condition! Always enjoy playing Padeswood, as it is a bit different from other courses in the area.

I would have marked the value higher if I could £15 to play an excellent course with some great shapes and challenging greens. I am a 18 handicapper and had an average round but loved every minute.

First time playing the course. I enjoyed the layout - some short drive able risky roles, some narrow, some wide and a good variety of par 3/4/5’s. 17th was definitely a memorable hole. 100% worth the £25 fee. Greens are fairly flat but we’re smooth, tee boxes could have been better - buy heavy weather for a few days before nothing game ruining.

Greens were in great condition considering the weather we’ve had recently!! Apart from a few muddy spots that can’t be help the course was in great condition!

Greens excellent no waiting staff polite fairways good even with all the bad weather we’ve had no complaints whatsoever and a couple of birdies as well so well pleased.

One of my favourites. Staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Course is challenging enough but I'm a high handicapper.

The course is well laid out, perhaps because it has been sunny it may have dried out the course ( I’m not sure what it was like last week) but some of the courses in North West have been water logged. The greens were perfect, the fairways were nice and short and the rough wasn’t too rough. The staff were nice and friendly, the onsite amenities were offered to us but we didn’t take it. A mini tournament has been in progress throughout the summer of dads v lads and this has been played all over the North West and this course was like the masters. Such a great course. Well worth the money and I WILL be playing here again. For the visitors who play here the 17th Bremen is hidden in a dip. Aim for the big fur tree
