Diamond Hill Golf & Country Club

The course has its ups and downs, and I mean that humorously. The course has elevations, inclines and rises, fun getting familiar with how to strike an uphill, side slant or downhill. After such a heavy use by the Winter snowbirds the greens will need some TLC is all.

I was very pleased with the condition of the greens. Well done Diamond hill.

Considering the lack of rain, the course was in pretty good shape. Greens were smooth and true. A few bare spot in some of the fairways, #11 fairway is pretty bad. Not very crowded on this day, and pace of play was excellent.

Highs & lows,...I'm meaning elevations. You don't have to drive Brooksville and north to get a rise. We were told the greens were terrible. Well, on the first green I said darn the guy was right. But after that we came across, maybe 3 or 4 needing some TLC. Fairways are typical Florida and the greens are typical Florida after the alien invasion by the snow birds. The greens like the tee boxes need to heal.

Ok. Course until 12 holed out. Second in life time,great course after that.

Made a tee time in the AM and showed up to find 4 foursomes in front of us on the tee. Told us it would be a 45 Min wait past the tee time. Found out they allowed a men's league to show up and go off before scheduled tee times.

Would have been a 6 hour round on a course that normally plays extremely slow. They have no regard for pace of play here anyway, they send off as many as they can whenever. Plus the starters were jerks about the whole think.

Luckily they gave us a refund and went to another local course and teed right off with no delay. Never again....

A good course that I would play more if it was closer

This course is a challenging layout that is always fun to play. Several years ago the course got a new owner and he has done some awesome work on the course. Cleaned out ponds, trimmed thousands of trees, renewed greens and fairways. He is refurbish8 ng the clubhouse and restaurant now. The previous owners had let the course go to pot and it is nice to see all of the improvements and the course back in very good shape. Greens are fast and the staff is courteous, friendly and helpful. It was very windy there today, so extra challenging. But our group had a great time and we would highly recommend this course.

We had a 9:16 tee time and didn’t get to tee until about 9:50. Play was very so slow that we decided to stop after the 15th hole since it was already a 5 hour round.

Place is horrible, fairways dead and hard. Greens are dead and sandy,

I always end up saying "now i remember why i stopped coming here"

Course could be one of the best in the area, for the amount of money they are charging and amount of people they slam jam in the first tee box every weekend i dont understand where the money goes

First time playing this course and probably our last. We went out as a foursome and found the fairways in horrible condition. Ground hard no grass in fairways some of the greens in bad shape. Overall a good layout will wait for some time before coming here again. Recommendation... close course down for six months over seed fairways, fix the bad greens and reopen. this course has GREAT potential. Such a shame to see course in the condition it's in now.

We were very disappointed in the condition of the course since the last time we played it. The fairways are all dried out and some of the greens are in rough shape. The back nine is the worst.

When I booked this course on a Saturday morning there were numerous times available so thought it was not busy. When we arrived 2 hours later to find at least 10 groups waiting on the first Tee as well many on the range ahead of us. They pro shop indicated that they were 1/2 hour behind but it was probably 1 1/2. They did allow us to cancel our time and we were able to get on another course. This is not the only course that is using Golf now to over book we have had this happen at a few others in this area. I would not recommend this course

It took 3 hours and 45 minutes to play the front 9. If you do not have a tee time they line you up and send you out. Waited on every shot on the front and had a 15 minute wait on holes 2 & 6. The back was better due to the fact that several groups quit due to the slow play. Slowest round in my 30 years of playing golf.The course is in good shape and the staff is real friendly.Will look to play elsewhere until the speed of play is addressed.

It seems that everyone has found this course. Really busy on Sat. Even had to wait for carts. Starter said first time for everything. But if you like to play, waiting was certainly the least of the problem.

I come here usually once a week. It has become my go to course. Great layout. A lot of room on most tee boxes for errors. Greens are tough. I always recommend this place when I go else where and get paired. Last time however pace was fairly slow. It was just my brother and I playing behind a threesome and they behind a handicap fivesome. For us we were not in a hurry. The threesome of old folk behind us however were. One hit up on us and literally came within inches of their drive hitting my face like an asteroid. So I picked the ball

Up and threw it at them :) real life. Other than that it was nice. I can not seem to break this straight up bogey golf pattern of mine. But I enjoy it.

I will say though ! Please diamond hill fix the fairway on hole 11. And the grass around the green. It would be great. If you could make the bunkers more sand less dirt or at least more dirt less hard ground 1/8th an inch under. That would be fantastic.
