The Hideaway Country Club

Lovely golf course with the staff to match. Anyone visiting or living in the area should play this course. Awesome value for the money. I payed $35 and got lunch with a beer included.

We have been playing the Hideaway Country Club for about two years and each year it seems to have increasingly improved. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The fairways and greens are well kept and clean. The numerous trees and flowers keep the course cool and attractive. I would definitely recommend this course

It's everything that the reviews all say. Absolutely immaculate course. Lush tees, fairways & greens.
The course is challenging, especially from the blues, but more than average par 3s result in a par 67.
Still, one of the most enjoyable rounds I've had in a long while. Excellent staff & friendly members.

We have played around this area for 15 years and just discovered this great course the condition was within the top 5 i have ever played. a must for every visit from now on. well done to all the staff.

one of my favorite courses to play. It is in such phenomenal condition and with water on every hole, a real challenge, but so much fun!

It seems that not many people know about this great course. This course is in fantastic condition with near perfect fairways and greens, the best I've seen in Florida yet. If you get a chance to play this course, do it!!

Played this course a number of times this summer. My group and I play all over Lee and Collier counties during the summer months to take advantage of the great prices at some of the top courses in the area.

I don't think I've played on a course with better fairways and greens for the price.and that includes courses like Old Corkscrew, Stoneybrook and The Raptor. I mean, there are NO weeds or even a foreign blade of grass on the fairways. They are kept in near perfect condition . Same with the greens.

Though it is a relatively short course with only two par fives, it is remarkably challenging; especially considering it is right in the city of ft myers. And their lunch special for 2 bucks more gets you a great burger, french dip or other great sandwich and a beer. You just can't beat it.

Sad to know it is members only starting nov 1st but I will certainly golf it often next year when season ends.

We played 18 here shortly after a rainstorm hit the area. The workers were very accommodating and helped us out. The course was a little wet, but playable and we found it very challenging for an executive type course. I would recommend this course to anyone who likes to play a quick round on a challenging course.

A lot of the small courses could learn some lessons about how to maintain their courses from the Hideaway. Kudos to course caretakers.

My father and I went to Hideaway to play and found them on this site. It is a 67 par course, but the landscaping more than makes up for the distance if anyone is worried about that. The fairways looked like a course you would watch on television and the greens were in very good shape! Best I have seen around this area all summer. It was cart path only due to the heavy rains the area got the night before and the early morning but it was still enjoyable and very well taken care of. The pro shop staff was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. If you don't live out there, I would definitely try to get in a round before season starts since it is a private course and during season it is for residents only. Definitely a course I will play again, in fact I already am booked for Sunday.

The course is in great shape. Layout is nice with numerous par 3's. You can play aggressive or conservative depending on your preference. Strategy play is fun with many options for success. Pace of play was right on the money. Locals were more than willing to let us through. The staff is very friendly and the food was great. You can't beat the golf and lunch special.

I was pleasantly pleased with the golf course The pro shop people were very friendly and paired me up with a local who was great to play with. We weren't pushed and the course was in great shape. The greens were alittle slow but true. I would go back again.

Interesting short course that challenges your short game. Thoroughly enjoyed the course. The Paspalum grass is different than I have ever played before and it made for some slower greens but the greens and fairways are in perfect condition. Definitely would recommend the course.

Hadn't played this course for a couple of years and we found they had made vast improvements in the condition of all aspects of the course. It's the best we've ever seen it. Highly recommend this course.
