The Hideaway Country Club

Most courses around here are a little rough around the edges after a busy winters play, but not this one. This course was a real pleasure to play. It is not only in pristine condition but is also very challenging. Well placed shots are a must on many holes with 90 degree doglegs and water hazards. The staff was very friendly and explained the summer lunch specials offered at the club. No matter what skill level you are this course will not disappoint.

I could not believe the fantastic conditions of the course. I am a native South Floridian and have not encountered greens and fairways with such beautiful grass. I recommend everyone to at least play this course once. You will be sure to play again.

Best facility I have played on in Florida in many years. The condition of the fairways, tee boxes and greens were outstanding.
The staff was attentive and the pro walked out to the first tee and pointed out some things to look out for on the first 3 holes as we were getting ready to tee off.
In 40 years of golf it takes a lot to surprise me......I was happily surprised and will try to play this course again......soon.

Excellent conditions from tee boxes to fairways to greens. Best I have ever played on.

The condition of the course was absolutely excellent. Since this was my first time at this facility the person in the pro shop actually took the time to point out the rest rooms, where to get ice/water, and was very helpful. Will return to play this course again. Nice !

I just love this golf course and I try to play it regularly. It is not very long and fairly easy but in a great condition.The greens are well manicured and everything is in a perfect condition. You normally get round the course in under three hours and can then enjoy a nice lunch - at least you could do that last year - this year I did not yet have the time to stay for lunch. Everybody should play it at least once.

A great course for all level of golfers. The greens and the fairways have a very good quality and are also somewhat challanging.

I was totally surprised with the conditions of the fairways and especially the greens and the tees. I recall this course as feeling like a pasture with very rough roughs. the boundaries were secured with the vintage post and rail fences. I'm not certain if I remember if there were cattle close-by. It certainly has a new face where it is a pleasure to play and socialize thereafter.

Hideaway CC recently underwent a $2,000,000 renovation and it shows!! After booking our 8:30am tee time for just $28.00, our expectations weren't super high. But, man oh man were we surprised when we showed up and hit the first tee.

The tees and fairways were literally in "tour quality" condition. Between the excellent condition and the challenging, yet fair par 67 layout, it made for an awesome round with buddies!

I think that Hideaway CC is "hands down" the best value in SW Florida on Golfnow.com!

The Hideaway delivered on a great golf experience. The course is remarkably pristine everywhere. The greens were perfect and appropriately challenging. I would definitely recommend this course to all levels of golfers.

A must play course. Paspalum Platinum TE grass throughout is fantastic. Pure fairways, superb greens. A real pleasure to play. Super polite and friendly staff. A course to put on your Bucket List.

Perfect conditions, although the course was somewhat wet. Perfect to practice on, as you can play an unlimited number of holes!

Everytime when you go to play to hideaway, all stuff is on your
side. The Pro shop is perfect. The People in stuff are friendly.
The place is for this time in a super shape.

You can't play another course any better for the money. The staff will take great care of you.Alot of water on the course ,but is very fair.
Make a point to go play this course.

They take really good care of this course and I was impressed with how good of shape it was in. It was challenging even though it was not a championship course. I enjoyed it

After reading the reviews, I had to give the course a shot. It's true- this is one of the best maintained courses anywhere. They do a GREAT job here- it's immaculate. The greens are not crazy fast, but they are big and beautiful. Probably the nicest bunkers I've seen anywhere- I was almost wishing there were more of them!
If you play from the back tees, it's long enough. And the two par 5's are legit. But it is a par 67. That's 7 par 3's. I played by myself, and got around in 2 hours. I suppose that could be a plus, or a negative.

got this on a hot deal and it was well worth the money. Very nice condition will no restrictions.

this is the 3rd time i have played this course this summer & every time i go it's in better shape! the staff is very friendly & helpful &the course is not crowded&very pretty.too bad that we can't get onto this hidden gem year round!
