It seems that not many people know about this great course. This course is in fantastic condition with near perfect fairways and greens, the best I've seen in Florida yet. If you get a chance to play this course, do it!!

Played this course a number of times this summer. My group and I play all over Lee and Collier counties during the summer months to take advantage of the great prices at some of the top courses in the area.

I don't think I've played on a course with better fairways and greens for the price.and that includes courses like Old Corkscrew, Stoneybrook and The Raptor. I mean, there are NO weeds or even a foreign blade of grass on the fairways. They are kept in near perfect condition . Same with the greens.

Though it is a relatively short course with only two par fives, it is remarkably challenging; especially considering it is right in the city of ft myers. And their lunch special for 2 bucks more gets you a great burger, french dip or other great sandwich and a beer. You just can't beat it.

Sad to know it is members only starting nov 1st but I will certainly golf it often next year when season ends.

We played 18 here shortly after a rainstorm hit the area. The workers were very accommodating and helped us out. The course was a little wet, but playable and we found it very challenging for an executive type course. I would recommend this course to anyone who likes to play a quick round on a challenging course.

A lot of the small courses could learn some lessons about how to maintain their courses from the Hideaway. Kudos to course caretakers.

My father and I went to Hideaway to play and found them on this site. It is a 67 par course, but the landscaping more than makes up for the distance if anyone is worried about that. The fairways looked like a course you would watch on television and the greens were in very good shape! Best I have seen around this area all summer. It was cart path only due to the heavy rains the area got the night before and the early morning but it was still enjoyable and very well taken care of. The pro shop staff was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. If you don't live out there, I would definitely try to get in a round before season starts since it is a private course and during season it is for residents only. Definitely a course I will play again, in fact I already am booked for Sunday.

The course is in great shape. Layout is nice with numerous par 3's. You can play aggressive or conservative depending on your preference. Strategy play is fun with many options for success. Pace of play was right on the money. Locals were more than willing to let us through. The staff is very friendly and the food was great. You can't beat the golf and lunch special.

I was pleasantly pleased with the golf course The pro shop people were very friendly and paired me up with a local who was great to play with. We weren't pushed and the course was in great shape. The greens were alittle slow but true. I would go back again.

Interesting short course that challenges your short game. Thoroughly enjoyed the course. The Paspalum grass is different than I have ever played before and it made for some slower greens but the greens and fairways are in perfect condition. Definitely would recommend the course.

Hadn't played this course for a couple of years and we found they had made vast improvements in the condition of all aspects of the course. It's the best we've ever seen it. Highly recommend this course.

The reason I initially went to this golf course was the ratings. All I can say is that you should try it. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Course is in excellent condition and plays well in the summer afternoons. Morning can be slow as the members tend to socialize. Have lunch added as it is well worth it as a package. They had just done aeration on the greens so that was only downside.

What a great round of golf. This is a beautiful course, well manicured and maintained. The service and staff were outstanding!! We did the golf and lunch special which you cannot beat! The course was in immaculate condition. It was hot and humid but we had the course to ourself. If you get a change to play; do it!!!

The only reason I did not rate this course all 5 stars is the aeration of the greens and fairways. It is a small course but challenging course on many of the holes. I would loved to play this course again when aeration is completely so I could change many of my 3,4 to 5 stars. If you are in Fort Myers area and would like to play a "quick" 18 holes this course is perfect!

GREAT COURSE TO USE ALLLLLLL YOUR CLUBS. GREAT SHAPE, WILL GO BACK TO PLAY IT AGAIN. DONT LET THE PAR 67 FOOL YOU.
