The Hideaway Country Club

The Hideaway delivered on a great golf experience. The course is remarkably pristine everywhere. The greens were perfect and appropriately challenging. I would definitely recommend this course to all levels of golfers.

A must play course. Paspalum Platinum TE grass throughout is fantastic. Pure fairways, superb greens. A real pleasure to play. Super polite and friendly staff. A course to put on your Bucket List.

Perfect conditions, although the course was somewhat wet. Perfect to practice on, as you can play an unlimited number of holes!

Everytime when you go to play to hideaway, all stuff is on your
side. The Pro shop is perfect. The People in stuff are friendly.
The place is for this time in a super shape.

You can't play another course any better for the money. The staff will take great care of you.Alot of water on the course ,but is very fair.

After reading the reviews, I had to give the course a shot. It's true- this is one of the best maintained courses anywhere. They do a GREAT job here- it's immaculate. The greens are not crazy fast, but they are big and beautiful. Probably the nicest bunkers I've seen anywhere- I was almost wishing there were more of them!
If you play from the back tees, it's long enough. And the two par 5's are legit. But it is a par 67. That's 7 par 3's. I played by myself, and got around in 2 hours. I suppose that could be a plus, or a negative.

this is the 3rd time i have played this course this summer & every time i go it's in better shape! the staff is very friendly & helpful &the course is not crowded&very pretty.too bad that we can't get onto this hidden gem year round!

First time, course well maintained, short but challenging.

The course is maintained in an amazing condition and plays wonderfully. It is a challenging course for a 67 and you will not be disappointed to play this course. We cannot wait to come back and play again. The staff are beyond super friendly and make you feel welcome and enjoyed having you there.

I have lived in the area for 13 years and have never heard of the course. Had bad vibes to play the course from the gentleman who suggested it. I really do want to play the course again it was that supurb. Enjoyed the people in the pro shop even though they were from a rival state. I do want to play this course again.

This course is just as several other reviewers have mentioned - it's almost perfectly maintained. Its a pleasure to play on a course that is this beautiful and well kept. It is a challenging course though mainly due to narrow fairways and sharp doglegs on the par 5s as well as a fair amount of water and sand.

This course is no pushover but it's also not ridiculously difficult. I had a great time and the staff was unbelievably friendly. I'll definitely play this course again on my vacation to Sanibel next year.

I have lived in SW Florida for over 14 years and had the opportunity to play this course with a friend this past week. What a great place to play golf, I was so impressed with the fairways and greens I have been telling all my friends that the is for sure a Hideaway. I'm a Combat Wounded Disabled Vet and have serious back problems but still like to get out and play golf with other Veterans at least one or two times a week. I can't express just how fantastic this place is I only wish it was open to the public. I will play there as often as I can!

Loved everything about the course. Unfortunately pace of play was an issue with the shotgun start they employed on this day. I was a single, who joined up with a 3some, and we got behind a 4some who, at one point, fell 2 holes behind the group in front of them. At that point, they should have picked up and skipped a hole, or allowed us to play through. That's the only problem I have with shotgun starts. Course was in terrific condition. I will be back.

Your round of golf starts with a warm, friendly and sincere welcome by the course staff. Then you are treated to a manicured, distinguished, and well maintained golf course. The Hideaway is a great place to enjoy a relaxed round of golf.

This is by far the best course I have played on to date in my short golfing career. The fairways were in such good condition I almost felt bad making divots with my iron swings. The greens were great and so was everything else! It is only a par 67, but I like the way it plays out. I am usually a 100 golfer and shot 93 here with two birdies. Some holes are tricky and without the aid of a course map, mistakes will be made. The carts were of nice quality as well. Overall a great place to golf!
