The Hideaway Country Club

I have lived in SW Florida for over 14 years and had the opportunity to play this course with a friend this past week. What a great place to play golf, I was so impressed with the fairways and greens I have been telling all my friends that the is for sure a Hideaway. I'm a Combat Wounded Disabled Vet and have serious back problems but still like to get out and play golf with other Veterans at least one or two times a week. I can't express just how fantastic this place is I only wish it was open to the public. I will play there as often as I can!

Loved everything about the course. Unfortunately pace of play was an issue with the shotgun start they employed on this day. I was a single, who joined up with a 3some, and we got behind a 4some who, at one point, fell 2 holes behind the group in front of them. At that point, they should have picked up and skipped a hole, or allowed us to play through. That's the only problem I have with shotgun starts. Course was in terrific condition. I will be back.

Your round of golf starts with a warm, friendly and sincere welcome by the course staff. Then you are treated to a manicured, distinguished, and well maintained golf course. The Hideaway is a great place to enjoy a relaxed round of golf.

This is by far the best course I have played on to date in my short golfing career. The fairways were in such good condition I almost felt bad making divots with my iron swings. The greens were great and so was everything else! It is only a par 67, but I like the way it plays out. I am usually a 100 golfer and shot 93 here with two birdies. Some holes are tricky and without the aid of a course map, mistakes will be made. The carts were of nice quality as well. Overall a great place to golf!

THIS WAS THE BEST MAINTAINED COURSE I HAVE EVER PLAYED. THE TEE BOXES WERE GOOD ENOUGH TO PUTT ON.THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. ICE MACHINES ON GOLF COURSE. I WISH I LIVED NEAR SO I COULD PLAY ALL THE TIME.IF I COULD GIVE IT 6 STARS I WOULD.

This is the most impressive golf course I have ever played! I’ve lived in Fort Myers for years and had no idea this golf course existed. It is my new favorite golf course. The entire staff is super friendly they truly care about their guests. You will not believe how manicured the grass is!!!

The Hideaway is very well maintained. Having played it 30 times since the complete refit. It is all ways a great time. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

This is by far my new favorite course! I think they vacuum the course as there is NOTHING on them to slow my ball down. The course is beyond pristine - and I can't say enough good about it.

Don't let the par 67 fool you - this one is tough. Tight fairways and greens that run forever. You'll be fighting to keep a good score, but you'll be in awe of the beauty of the course at the same time.

The fairways are like greens on other courses. The bunkers will get you, but you'll appreciate their quality. The greens are fast, but fair.

I wish I could golf this course everyday. The only drawback is that I can't.

Beautiful course in excellent condition. Not very difficult, but fun to play. Highly recommended.

an excellent, more challenging than normal executive course, in absolutely superb condition, even though the greens had been recently aerated ... nestled into a community of condos ... absolutely lovely grounds

Near perfect course conditions.What prevented me from giving the course 5 stars was a) not being advised in advance on Golf Now it was a par 67 course (5100 from the tips). b) being charged $7.50 for a hot dog on a stale bun after a 10 min wait at the turn.

One of the best kept secrets in the Fort Myers area.

fairways not too long. water but not too difficult to play. we had a group in front of us who played very slowly. bad luck!
