Magnolia Point Golf & Country Club

The course, especially the greens were in very good shape, but it took us almost 6 hours to play. It seems that they overbook on weekends as this was not the first time that this has happened..

Fairways were rough and rough was waste land but the greens were amazing!!! I though the practice green was turf it was so perfect I literally got down and pulled a blade of grass out to make sure it was real

Greens fair clean,well cut.fairways needed growth very sparse. Tee boxes needed work especially 14 senior tee course seemed wet. . Pairing group excellent. Overall fair day

Played 2/26. 18 holes. First nine went fine a little slow but manageable. The last nine took 3 hours. A 5 some in front of us just totally slowed play down. They refused to let us play through. I tried to call clubhouse but no response. It was later in afternoon. It ruined our experience and people were behind us. We finished in the dark. Not a good situation

Very nice layout and very comfortable place to play. Spacing of players is great. Fairways are a little thin due to grass being dormant

Played the round in about 3:15….greens were in great shape, tee boxes in good shape and most fairways were in not so good shape….it could be the time of the year that caused the fairways to be pretty much bare with patchy grass….the course itself winds thru a beautiful subdivision and is narrow, challenging and fun to play…all in all it was a good golf experience and we will be back…

The greens are in great condition. The layout is fair and challenging. The bunkers are better than my home course.

A great course to play. Well designed for mid handicapper…reasonably positioned pin locations and traps.

Staff was exceptionally accommodating….allowed me to use their Calloway adjustment tool and verified my setting.

Greens were good, Fairways thin. But it is winter time. Pace of play was slow. But it was a holiday. Staff were great. Overall a good day.

large tournament in progress,our tee off time was delayed by 50 minutes. Took us 3plus hours to play 8 holes...then we just quit.

There was a tournament the morning I played. The course could have planned better for a more realistic estimate of when the tourney would be over, or at least far enough so that others can play. The back up was ridiculous and as a result I couldn't finish my round before it got dark. That said, the staff were incredibly polite and handled the situation as best as can be expected. Hats off to them. It is hard to deal with many inpatient and upset golfers! I will eventually come back and play a full round. Just need to check the tournament schedule first. The course itself was very fun!! In great shape too.

A friend at work highly recommended this course. Honestly, the course is not bad and the price to play was reasonable. I wasn't so crazy about the place for the following reasons: 1) the drive for me was close to an hour each way, so going forward I'd be hard pressed to drive that distance for this course. 2) the greens were slow but in good shape. The disappointment was in the rest of the course including the fairways, largely burn't out and poor ball positions in the fairway. Now the recent cold temperatures could have certainly played a part in that, not sure. So I WOULD recommend this course to others depending on distance to course but not so much for myself.
