Corte Bella Golf Club

Played this course for the first time today. Had high expectations since it is managed by Troon. Overall the course is good, greens in nice shape and we played it in 4 hours which is fantastic for a Sunday afternoon.

Only real issue with the course itself is just new sand is needed in many of the bunkers - many of them were hard as concrete.

The bigger issues are with the amenities. No beverage cart, no food "ready to go" - had to wait 10 mins for sandwiches to be made, no on course Marshall. Also confusion over green fees when booking the tee time. The pro shop quoted me a rate $10 higher than their own web site - blamed it on Golf.now buying the tee times however it wasn't on the golf.now site.

Otherwise a course I would play again. Just make sure you pack your own beverages and foods since it is not easy to to so on the course.

This course is well-maintained, with nice fairways and beautiful landscaping through this retirement community. Landing areas off the tee are generous, with large, undulating greens. Greens were a little spotty in places, but plenty quick and relatively smooth. Great value!

Very nice course! Keep it in the fairway and you'll score very well! Played the black/white composite tees and that was a great mix of difficult and fair.

Will be back!

Course in condition. Staff was great. They deliver your food to you on the course. Slow play though.

First time playing this course and I was pleasantly surprised. The conditions of the course were excellent and it was designed to be challenging if you don't hit it straight. The bunkers were great (meaning the sand was good sand) so you didn't have to worry about rock hard traps. If you stay in the fairways, you can score well. The greens were fast but were true.
There was no beverage cart, but they poured them strong in the clubhouse;).

If a nice day playing golf means more than just a well maintained course and facility to you, then don't bother going to Corte Bella. The course and facilities are great, but the golf experience is very lousy - primarily because of the staff.

They don't have cart service - at all. They don't bother to tell you this, but they do make sure you don't bring your own cooler. We found about about the lack of cart service after surviving the front 9. We went into the clubhouse to get drinks for the back 9. This took 15 minutes due to poor/slow service.

We were then harassed by the course marshal on number 10 because there was an empty hole ahead of us - meanwhile there wasn't anyone behind us for three holes. The place was a ghost town and this guy's harassing us to keep up!

I agree with other posters that Corte Bella hates being semi-private - they don't mind taking your money, but they wish you weren't there and they treat you like it.

They are like a tourist town that needs the tourist's money but can't stand the tourist.

It's a beautiful course and facility, but not worth the hassle. I would never play there again at any price.

The course was beautiful. The weather was wonderful. The staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. Overall, it was a great experience!

I really enjoyed the wide fairways for tee shots but difficult greens to get near pin placements when I played. I liked that I could really hit long to wide fairways... easy to hit from Tees.

Greens where in great shape, faiways ran fast. Lots of sand thru out the course. enjoyed the round at 4 hrs.

The course was in good condition the pace was good too. Always like this course.

Chose this course for the price and the great reviews in Golfnow.com. We were not mislead. Nice course, wide open, very seldom in danger of hitting into the ajoining homes. Generous fairways, nice greens, moderate ball marks on the greens. They putted well, fairways in good shape with lots of sand on the carts to repair divots. Fair course, great for women, and the pace of play was acceptable for a Saturday. Overall I would recommend and I will play this again.

Great Tees and very nice greens. The members should do a better job repairing ball marks on the greens.

The course is beautiful and well maintained. It is fun!

Great course layout with perfect yardage. Range facilities are outstanding and staff has been more than helpful both times I have played there.

Only suggestion would be to add beverage cart on weekend.

Very well run golf course. Starter let people know when they were up. Played in 4hr and 10 min. on a full course for the 1st time since I've been out here. Course is in great shape. Enjoyed the day.

nice course I wish when make tee time to tell you it is a shot gun start and you have to play as a single to have to wait in every shot when to many 3soms where in the course

Frost delay, so play was backed up and somewhat slow. Course condition was excellent. Greens fast, but ball rolled true. A lot of sand.

Absolutely enjoyed this course. Would love to play it again in full season. Had a frost delay but I was a single and they let me go out first. Finished in 2.5 hours.

great tee boxes, fairways, and fast true greens. Pace of play was perfect. PA's were informative.
Will play again!!!!!
