About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

John Herzberg st Irangebrook
Looks like west course recovered well from rain. Greens were extremely slow but very playable. Tee boxes in good shape. Sand traps were fine as well. Fairways were in good shape. Only complaint I have is that we always take an extra cart to speed up our play and they doulbked the price for the extra cart to $20. I call that hyper inflation,!!

A good place to play
The greens were in airation procesos, but playable. In best condition than our last round un october/21

Very good value
Good experience . I've played the east course before, but it seems as if the west course was a little better. Oh,, and did I mention that lunch was free. Very pleasant surprise.
Was paired with a cool guy who gave me advise on my game as well. Nice outing.

I play with my daughter here they offer a teen rate and a local rate. I hope that the potential for the driving range ito be developed into a multi level first class facility. As for the course hopefully the city will release the funds (millions$$) to put this place on the map..

BEATING WORK
Orangebrook was not very busy the day I played. So all 18-holes only took aobut 2-1/2 hours. Played here many times, and the people are still friendly and the course interesting. Just wih they'd put back the trees Wilma destroyed years ago. Then both sides get very interesting.
