About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

Could be great ??
The course layout is wonderful. Unfortunately the tee box, fairways, and greens are very poorly maintained. The green have large patches of weeds all over, the rough had large quantities of grass clippings all over, and the fairways are all weeds (mowed short). This is a rough executive course to say the least.

Great layout and getting better
The West course features a great layout. The conditions are good and have improved since my last play. The green are healthy and smooth although a bit slow which I expected during this hot season. If they're cut too low they might not withstand the heat. I enjoyed the round and hope to return soon.

Cart Girl
Cart girl was not friendly at all. asked her if it was cash only or i could zelle, cash app etc. she treated me as if i was going to steal 2 beers and not pay her. She was very disrespectful wouldnt even open the beer tray without making sure my "zelle was ready" not a friendly lady. course was mediocre and the grass was a bit higher than normal. if you shank one outside the fairway, youre guaranteed to lose it.

Course not in good shape at all
The greens were just weeds that were mowed down and rolling at about a 6.5. The fairways were alright but the bunkers were no good. Not terrible upsetting for $20 but would not play again.

Being irate at 1st hole...
Was right on time due to traffic & map reroutes..rerouted... told have to wait for another single ... on the course twosome individual carts...THE GUY I WAS THROWN WITH IS A WEEK OUT FROM COVID.. A FREAKIN WEEK...STILM HAVE SYMPTOMS.. SO WALKED MIST THE ROUND DUE TO STARTER JERKS ..

Good value
I played the west course and it was very forgiving. Greens could do with being better but fairways and rough were as good if not better than $100 courses. Tees were as good as any. Weekday morning I was all by myself and no pressure as i Ben took couple shots for practice on many holes and had time to fish for some from ponds. Did not expect no refreshment cart or 9 hole turn at clubhouse so go with your own cooler, ice, and snacks/lunch.
Plenty of wildlife.

course was good but bunkers were filled with rocks
the course was good, the bunkers were filled rocks so the 1 I hit, I just kicked it out instead of playing it and damaging my club. the pace was good, as 4some we played til 12 on schedule with no waiting until we got rained out and left.

You get what you pay for
This course supposedly will be getting a major renovation, when this will actually happen I have no clue, but it needs it badly. Greens are rough and the overall course is not well kept.
