About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

Course Layout is terrific; they are working hard on the greens
The fairways are great. The greens are coming along, and have improved lots in a month. They are constantly working on the course, and there was a problem with the greens that are being resolved quickly. In several weeks, this will be a great secret with 2 18s, great pace of play, terrific and friendly staff, and a challenging and LONG well kept course.

Getting there
Must say the greens are in better shape .Just ask the person who put the cups in the hole to check the depth ,getting them deeper.What happened to red ,white stakes.

Now I’m not very proficient at golf, more like an intermediate. I’d return because the course isn’t that hard and for the price it’s a solid course. The greens were pretty beat up and the roughs were really tough. But I still managed to have plenty of fun

Nice track, greens need to improve quite a bit
I like the track, fairways are patchy, buy okay. You need to roll the ball over in some areas even in fairway. The greens are pretty bad, but seem to be improving. Bumpy, no grass in spots, seemed like they aerated a few weeks ago, so that is good. But really need to repair the bare patches. It is a good place to practice and play for a reasonable fee. I like it.

Ok for price
I like Orangebrook West. It is wide open and easy to play. Pace of play was great today 2:40 minutes
It is a muni course, so the course is not in great shape. Little sand in traps, grass around greens is very inconsistent.
The greens especially need work. Browned out sandy patches. Can’t get a roll on line because everything bounces. Speed impossible to jusge.
Had a good price on a hot deal and it was an enjoyable day., but....they really do need to take better care of the course

Greens in bad shape
Course surroundings are not nice. Greens in bad shape. Wouldn't recommend.

The staff is very friendly !! Great for beginners, course is wide open for those who don't hit the ball straight all the time. They punched and sand the greens so it's a little rough putting.

Just awful greens.
I wouldn't recommend this course if i had a gun to my head.

Course is beat up
More sand on the greens than in the bunkers. Fairways are horrible. Tee boxes are atrocious. Not worth the money.
