About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

Greens
What happened to the greens i think the people working
here has the passion or drive to operate a golf course very sad to say.
Not worth it
If you arw more than a weekend hacker this course will be a very very big disappointment.
The greens were in horrible condition. They haven't been mowed in some time with bare spots throughout making it impossible to hold any line on a putt. The fringes were nothing but crab grass and weeds.
The tee boxes and fairways were the only good thing about the course beside the outstanding deals on clothing in the pro shop.

Overchatged for this course
I have seen cow pastures in better shape than these greens. Very pricy for the condition of the greens.

Brownbrook
For some reason, the course has decided to overcharge to play the west course when at the moment, several of the greens have patches of brown where there is no grass. Completely unacceptable!

Good Beginners Course
Took my daughter and friends out as this was her first time on a full length course. Course needs work but adequate for beginners. Aeration and irrigation will go a long way. Course is heavily booked in the winter months so cannot understand why $$ are not re-invested. Fortunately for the owners not much competition available these days.

Terrible Condition
Absolutely not worth $50/person. The greens are a total disaster. Not one put rolled true. Weeds and sand all over the middle of the greens. Won't be back.
