Championship at Hillcrest Golf Club

A friend and I went down for a day from Dallas, TX. The starter was great he kept everything on time very well organized. Course was in great shape. Speed of play was good. The view was nice . We did not play 18 holes it rained on us on hole 17 and 18 two nice finishing holes. I would definitely recommend this golf course.

Went as a single and was paired with my new Canadian friend, Claude. Even in a steady rain there was no cart path only due to excellent drainage. Staff was friendly & helpful. I did not have time to eat, but have had lunch there before and meal was excellent. This is a challenging, interesting course. I highly recommend it.

Course had nice layout and fairly easy. Good overall condition and very good value for money.

The best golf course from value for money point of view.
The best greens in the area (soft, receptive but fast).

Played course last year and enjoyed round. This year it took almost 5 hours to complete round. That's wasn't fun. In addition I didn't feel greens were in the best shape. There were some parts that had no green at all.

Great course, good design and great conditions for the money. Love that island green on 18. It can make or break a good round.

Bring your long game and putt with care. East to recover if you get in a jam. Wide fairways and fast greens.

Play here often as I can. Nice layout, well maintained, consistent greens and super helpful/friendly staff. Great value off season on GolfNow. Still not too bad during busy season.

Just visiting the area, and we have played three courses while here. This course seem to be an older course, but still in good condition. I would plan on playing again if in area.

Still Recommend This Course Just Be Expecting A Long Round

Generally a good course to play. On this particular date, weather was poor early. Arrived early and teed off around 7:15am as a two some. Played course in slightly over three hours. Only two problems I have with this course which is generally higher priced than most. 1: No GPS system. 2. For early tee times, snack bar is not open and water or anything else not available when teeing off. Not a serious problem this particular day with weather cool, but I have played here on very hot summer days and lack of liquid early on can be a problem if you don't bring your own. One of the best draining courses around so although this has been a rainy week, course was in good shape, no restrictions whatsoever.

Very nice course good speed of play nice layout would definitely play again course in nice condition.Great value.

Sunday afternoon was very crowded. cars were stacked up at the first tee. The course looks great and was challenging. Unfortunately we were rained out at the 15th and were not able to play the 18th.

played from the gold at 7000 y. the course is very challenging...good pars 3, easy pars 5, greens in good shape and with a good speed (9), i liked this course

After a heavy rain that dumped 24 inches of rain the previous day and night, the course was open and played great. We didn't even need play cart paths only. Not a single bit of standing water out there after torrential rains 10 hours before. What a great experience!

I went out and the weather was good. The greens were maintained. The 18th island green is nice.

If you like to wait on every shot, this is the course for you. On
one of the par 5's there was a foursome on the tee, TWO foursomes in the fairway and a foursome on the green. Nothing
like booking t-times every 5 minutes. I forgot to mention the
sixsome 4 groups in front of us.

The course is sneaky if you're not careful. Also, one of the few in the area with changes in elevation. Pretty good shape and well worth the price. Friendly staff. Greens are large and challenging.
