Unfamiliarity with this course increases the difficulty level. All but one green in great shape. Definitely worth the Hot Deal Golfnow price.

First time playing in nine months and the course has me excited to go back.

Great value. In good shape. Fairways are fairly open and wide. Will play again.

Course greens in need of help but other than that course is playable. They may have had a bad winter but greens are bad it seems all the greens had trouble on the putter edges of each green so pin placements are In the middle. Staff was very friendly and course of play was fast. Seen cart girl 4times on each side which was excellent. I would suggest lowering the price until greens are repaired.

I might be tougher on Jacksonville Beach for mediocre greens if the latest round there wasn't such a nice day. On the positive side, the layout of the course is very nice and with the many water hazards, while not friendly to those who can't control distance, offers unique challenges to those who can. Changes made to the back nine of the course are also really looking good, particularly No. 16 and the reworked tee box on No. 18. On the downside, many of the greens are still struggling, which is a shame because they offer some of the best undulation for a Florida muni. The guys at Jax Beach are working hard to make the course the best it can be, so it's for that reason and the nice weather that I bump them to a four stars.

Course is in good shape tee to green. But the greens need some work. Especially the first 3. Multiple patchy spots but very puttable from 4-18!
Fun course worth the price when the greens come back!

Course is starting to Greenup nice. A couple greens still need some work but course was very playable. Got it on golf now for $15.00.

Greens had more dirt than grass. Course gets a lot of play and it shows. Once again. Greens are horrible.

Greens are a mess but it is a fun, challenging course. The staff was very friendly. We never had to wait to hit a shot. Overall, not bad.

This is an excellent course for walking, has challenging holes and there is always a nice breeze coming off the ocean. They are having some issues with a few greens, but most are in good shape and the bad ones are in repair and with good growing season should be great

Let me start by saying, I love the layout of the track and the design of the greens! However, this course has been neglected and abused! The greens keeper needs to get a different profession. It could be a world class course with some TLC! Had a great time! Price was great!!!! Just wish they would water and let the grass grow.

A wonderful layout and quite challenging , especially if the prevailing southeast winds are blowing over 15 mph.

But the poor condition of the greens kept me from completely enjoying the course yesterday. I'm not an agronomist but something has gone awry here. Bare, damaged spots on most and a real failure to thrive persist on most. They better get control back soon or I fear this little gem of a course may have to start using temporary greens!

The greens were all tore up and the fairways barely had grass. More times than not my ball, in the middle of fairway, was laying on dirt. There really was not much grass. There's nothing more frustrating than having a great shot only to come up on a lie that is worse than the rough.

I asked to play alone but was paired up with two gentlemen in their seventies . My round lasted almost 5 1/2 hours.
The condition of the course was very poor, with greens lacking grass and fairways showing a lot of
winter kill, something I expect much further north for this time of year.

The course is just ok since a few of the greens had some bad spots.

Course in pretty good shape for this early in the season. Greens are quite undulated. I feel this is a pretty challenging course. Crowded, but moved pretty quickly (under 4 hours on a Sunday afternoon).

They have installed a monitoring system that will beep when you get too close to the green. This system has to be the most annoying system ever. Their were holes when the beep beep would continue even thought cart was on path. When you are trying to putt all that we could hear was the beep beep why? I would think in 2012 their has to be a better way. If they were to spend more time and money on the greens and fairways it would be much more enjoyable .
