The course is maintained. Allot of Walkers so the pace of play was slow.

I have played the course numerous times and recommend it to others frequently.

I previously played this course over 8 months ago and conditions were terrible. I was pleasantly surprised on my return. They have been working hard on this course. Greens are coming along. There are some where you can see seems from transplanted grass. Fairways were in good shape and tee boxes ok. There was tournament that went off before our foursome but pace of play was steady. Cart girl came around numerous times. Course is well on it's way back and should be in fine shape with a little more time.

I have not played golf in 20 years ( 58). I have been hitting balls for a month or so, trying to get back to a great game. I played with a friend, and we both enjoyed a fun round of golf. This is not a long track, but when the wind picked up on the back 9, it was a challenge. We played in 4 hours, playing behind a threesome that was slow at best. I will play there again.

20 years ago I had a single digit handicap, a ball beater/grinder

The course is well maintained and in good shape at this time of year. It is a challenging course but not so difficult as to diminish the fun of the occasional golfer. The staff was friendly and helpful.

very open friendly course, played a very quick round, could have even gotten done earlier if the starter would have let us on the course- booked on golf.now and the starter made us wait for the rest who booked the start time- very fair. Course is in great shape and the price was decent

I enjoy playing here. Tee boxes need attention. Good value

The course is in the best condition I've ever seen it. The fairways and greens are in good shape. There are only a couple of greens that aren't rolling perfectly due to sun burn marks on the surface. GPS is cool in the cart. I will play there again

Jax Beach was just a great all around muni. As usual the staff was great, the cart girls were on both sides, and the course was in nice shape. I love the wide open layout and for the price I cant think of a better value. The greens were very solid granted we just had rain that week. Add Jax Beach to your next loop if you get the chance !!!

The place is killer! Play once a week and its really fun. Staff is great only hiccup is the mats on the driving range.

Some of the greens have a fair amount disease or water damage. However, the fairways were in very good shape and the layout is good for the average golfers. The staff and beverage cart people were very friendly.

Some greens had problems with splotches of schmutz here and there. We just moved the ball when we had to. Made no sense to putt through that stuff. Good place to play - will be back.

Usually no more than 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Plenty of water. Greens getting back into mostly nice shape. Always a bit of a challenge but wide-open enough to keep you in the game.

Very solid course. Good shape, nice variety of holes, good risk/reward options, and overall good shape. Greens were inconsistent in speed and cut but generally in fairly good shape. Practice facility could be better. Had to hit off mats, practice green very spotty.

The course, especially the greens, have come back and it's in good condition. Pace of play is very good on week days and tolerable on week-ends. It presents a nice challenge with well bunkered greens and plenty of water. The ocean breeze is nice and makes it cooler than inland courses. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has a nice menu. If you haven't played it in awhile you will be pleasantly surprised.

Putting greens were rough and damaged from disease. Not all greens were bad but I would say about 60% were bad. I still had a great time playing on this course and will be back again

The first 4 greens are so so but they are very nice after that. Greens tend to be slow, but the course itself is lush. Gets kinda slow on weekends. Storms usually stay away from there and almost always a very nice ocean breeze on hot days.

I played here on Sunday 7/14/13 and the course looks a lot better than I have ever seen before. Over the last 6 years I have played this course 10 times or so. The front nine greens are so-so but the back nine is near perfect, and the back nine is twice as hard as the front. if your looking for a decent course to play for $20-30 with friendly staff then this is your course...Hit em straight
