About
The newly revamped Jacksonville Beach Golf Club, built in 1959, is one of the only public access courses on Jacksonville's Beaches. The golf course was originally designed by Sam Snead.
The changes at Jacksonville Beach Golf Club began with the rebuilding and modernizing of more than half the greens on the golf course, along with some new bunkers and bulkheads to add to the already beautiful look.
The 18-hole golf course measures 6,510 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.9, with a slope rating of 126.

Fairly open, good condition
Course is fairly open but gets it's challenges primarily from proximity to ocean. Can get quite breezy. Nice condition. We got cut short by rain and staff was very friendly about issuing a rain check.
still alot of wet spots but not too bad
Pace of play was a little slow and alot of wet spots on course but overall not bad.
Good layout; below average maintenance condition; very low priced
Course requires some maintenance, but it's priced low, so that's to be expected. Challenging, interesting layout. Pace of play was fine. They had issues with the communication with Golfnow.com (they didn't have the information and had to rely upon the certificate that I printed out).
VERY FLAT, LOTS OF WATER
AFTER THE SHOCK OF THE POOR CONDITION OF THE FIRST GREEN,THINGS GOT MUCH BETTER. NEARLY ALL OF THE REMAINING GREENS WERE IN GOOD SHAPE, ALTOUGH A LITTLE BUMPY. MOST OF THE WATER HAZZARDS ARE PARALLEL TO VERY GENEROUS LANDING AREAS, HOWEVER A COUPLE OF FORCED CARRIES DO PRESENT CHALLENGES.
FAIRWAYS WERE VERY THIN,TYPICAL WINTER CONDITIONS.
