While you were sleeping Photo submitted by Stonedizz on 07/11/2020
This course is both fun and challenging.
It's been a while since my son and I played golf together... and this was the perfect course to do it. We both had fun, enjoyed playing together, and played well enough (so if we played 18 holes, we both would have scored 90 or better).
Great course/value
Considering the cost of play, and focusing on just golf (not the amenities), it’s a great course for a simple round of 9.
J Garcia
The Course needs work! Lost my ball in the middle of a fairway, really????
Excellent food in the coffee shop though
Issues with carts. Child centered activities.
Got there and was informed that "all the carts were out on course." Small kids and pushy parents all over the practice green with plastic golf toys strewn all over the place. Chaotic. Hard to roll putts or warm up. Started 20 minutes late. Very anti-golf.
This course was great
It’s a good course for only 9 holes. Has 3 par 5 holes which I like. I got there early to hit the range but they told me they had no more balls which threw me off… the staff was very friendly about it saying that as soon as they refill I’d be the first to get some range balls. After your round make sure to stop by the 10th hole. Good bar, good food.
Course has good bones but needs lots of TLC …
Course has good bones but conditions of tee boxes, fairways were subpar. Greens were ok, course needs lots of TLC
Watch out for the hornet pools!
On almost every hole there's still water with yellow jackets surrounding it. Bring off or deet for all the smaller bugs. Greens are hit and miss. Fairways are in so-so conditions.
So glad this course is here
Having Eaton Cyn and Altadena 9 hole courses here just above Pasadena is a real treat. Getting tee times are still fairly easy, both courses are challenging. I believe that both courses were originally 18 holes and 9 holes were sold off to developers. The courses get dry and full of gopher holes when you get off the fairways, so hit em straight. Greens are usually in decent shape, tee boxes, well, those seem to be hit or miss. Both courses have driving ranges with grass tees and nicely kept putting greens. Golf tee times are hard to come by in the San Gabriel valley, especially when you're a more casual golfer and maybe don't plan well ahead, but just feel like getting in 9 holes.
Rude Pro Shop Worker
I believe his name is Sam at the pro shop, dude obviously hates his job I have no idea why he’s there.
I love coming here but dealing with rude pro shop workers is the worst, kills the mood.
Other then that lovely course
