Bumpy Round
I enjoy playing Eaton. It challenges my skill, or lack thereof, just enough to have fun without leaving the course depressed.
My only gripe, and it’s a big one, would be the cart paths. I don’t usually have time to walk the course so I choose to ride. However, the cart paths are in such horrible condition the ride is ridiculously bumpy, uncomfortable, and even painful. I would participate in a “fix the cart path fund” in a heartbeat.
Next round I’ll bring a big pillow to sit on.
Great experience, lots of hills
Elevation changes and some narrow fairways makes this 9hole very fun to play but a little challenging for a beginner like me, will definitely play again. Walking wore me out a bit might cart next time
Great course and great value. The fairways and greens were pristine. The only gripe we had was the hundreds of gopher holes in parts of the rough and a few fairways. Overall amazing value for a round of golf.
The best golf Course in the Area
I love this golf course because it is challenging. You get different lies and the Par 3 are long but fair. the Par 5's are crazy long and up hill, while the par 4s are mostly long, but down hill. I play this course every opportunity I get. The greens for the most part are always slow compared to my home course and the fairways can be soggy even in the summer. That is management trying to keep this course respectable which I like. I do not think this can be playable if it was dried out. I love it. If you are not in shape, please rent the cart, it is very hilly.
Good value
Had a good time at this one. Played here once and had a bunch of 20 year olds driving carts on the green and really slowed down the pace for me. But also have player here and had the whole place to myself. It’s a little dry on the outskirts but tee boxes, fairways, and greens in great condition.
Driving range is in very bad shape but fairly priced for it.
Staff always helpful and friendly
All in all good value for the price and a great place to for beginner / intermediates looking for a space to work on that driver.
Very Slow
A fairly decent looking course. One of the longest 9hokes I've played which I enjoyed. Pace of Play is atrocious.
Fun To Play
Many of the fairways have serious gopher hole issues. The cart paths are so beat up that riding a cart beats you up. The gopher hole issue is just a fact of life, but the horrible condition of the cart paths is an insult. If they can’t afford the fix, they should put on a bake sale, car wash or fund-raising tournament to pay to repave the paths. It’s convenient course for me and okay to play, but each time I do the condition of the paths make riding a cart quite unpleasant. And I don’t like being forced to walk.
Good time
I love Eaton canyon. When I need to work on my game I love coming here. It is a mixture of par 3, 4’s and 5’s.
