Rude Pro Shop Worker
I believe his name is Sam at the pro shop, dude obviously hates his job I have no idea why he’s there.
I love coming here but dealing with rude pro shop workers is the worst, kills the mood.
Other then that lovely course
Don’t expect too much
Don’t expect too much, but with that said, if your expectations are to get in a round with your boys, get some step in, or even enjoy riding a cart and having a few. It’s a great spot. Price doesn’t necessarily reflect what you’re gonna play but it’s what helps to keep it open I guess. Greens are solid, fairways aren’t so much but I had a blast cause there wasn’t ever any rush and it was a beautiful day.
Condition is questionable, but still a good value if you can grab a deal
It’s hard to find a 9 hole course with some good yardage, so this one is filling the gap. The course condition needs some work tho, fairways are mixed with different kinds of grass and weeds. the rough is very hard to play, it’s basically all weeds and bare ground, so you either lose the ball or you have to move it to hit. The cart path is beaten up as well. All that being said, if you can grab a deal, it’s still worth to play as a practice course.
Good bang for your buck
This was my second time playing this course, and I will definitely play here again as it is a good value and a fun course. I played on a Sunday morning and the pace of play was good, the greens were in good shape, it’s not too difficult, you get to use most of your clubs, and the trees on the course are beautiful. Also, I like how it’s mostly par 4s and has two par 5s which is unique for a 9 hole course. Only down sides are good luck finding your ball if you’re not on the fairway and the staff seems a bit disorganized.
Good experience, golfnow an issue
This is the second or third time I have booked a tee time on golfnow where the staff were blindsided by my reservation. I only got on because there was a cancellation with the group on the tee box and couldn’t warm up or anything, just had to run up and tee off. Course was great, greens were fast, and rate of play was reasonable. Just kinda annoyed that there seems to be a disconnect between the app and the course staff at the course you’re booking for. Same thing happened at Altedena and San Dimas.
