The Preserve Golf Club

To begin, I have avoided this course due to the many negative reviews but after experiencing this course, I should have come out sooner.

The staff are very friendly and all had a smile. This included pro shop, starter, refreshments, and even the maintenance crew. Paying more at other courses I have experienced much worse. Now for the course….

I will not say the course is perfect. But let’s be fair. Unless you pay triple digits, you’re not going to get perfection anywhere in this area. I’d say the tee boxes need the most help. They are patchy but you’re using a tee so it isn’t an issue. The fairways are not all horrible. Some areas are bare, but nothing a little overseeding wouldn’t fix. If you find yourself in a bare spot, move your ball to the closest patch of grass. The traps are better than other courses and not as good as others. You can still play out of them. The greens are going through maintenance. Out of 18, maybe 4 or 5 had really rough areas. But they put well and are at a nice pace which did surprise me. The layout was fun but there are a few blind spots when behind another group so it is something to be of note.

Overall, know who we are… We pay to play and are not a pro. This is a course that is priced for what it is. Enjoy being in nature, being with friends, and having a good time. After all, we do this for fun and this is a good place to do just that.

The front and back nines should be reversed. The front nine was rough and discouraging. The back nine was like a different course. It had better greens and layout. The safe was friendly and helpful. Not a fancy course but an okay course for the money.

Course has not been well-maintained. Tee boxes had little grass, lots of weeds and bare ground. Greens had been mowed and rolled but we're not in good condition.

Nice course layout only BIG PROBLEM was the greens. Front nine horrible then some of the greens on the back nine were better.

20 years ago this was a nice course.. Today this golf course should be taken off line from Golf Now and Tee Off. What a disaster. It has turned into a disgrace from what it was in tthe pass. I live In Bradenton and play most of the courses in the area. Save your money and play a one of the country courses if you want to save a buck.

Beautiful course. Greens need some work, but overall had a great time.

Course needs a little TLC but greens are finally getting hair on them. Alligators and all other animals happy go lucky on this obstacle course, come try for yourself!

Course not in good shape. Fairways are not good grass. Some places sand and weeds. Greens in terrible shape. Maybe by next year, with some work, it will be better.
