Can’t beat the price
I play here one or two times a month, it’s not the best course but for the money you can’t beat it

First of all our tee time was 7:16am. We got to the pro shop at 6:55am and there was no one attending the desk. 15 minutes later we called the course but only to find out the unattended desk in the pro shop is where the customer call come through. No one showed up to check us in for 20-25 minutes. Then the same guy we waited for in the pro shop began cutting the turf around just about every hole green as we played our round. He didn’t even wait while we atleast played a shot. I felt totally distracted from my play listening to a LOUD lawn mower in close proximity of my golf play.

Killer price point
Continues to improve.Rough cut, Bermuda grass ,coming in on some fairways. .Geens rolling better

Good value
Greens are mixed, some good and some in poor condition. Fairways are generally decent. Rough needs to be mowed. Tees are ok. Pace was slower than expected. Staff at clubhouse were terrific.
Needs maintenance

Course is in good condition especially after recent rains!
We enjoyed 18 holes!! A large group in from Beverly Hills but we were able to start right away and played all 18 holes in very good time!!
We look forward to returning!
Super Nice Staff. Course Needs Work.
The staff at Spruce Creek Preserve are very nice. It's a shame that the course needs so much work. The layout and design has real possibilities. But there is indeed much work to be done.

NEEDS WORK
The course layout has real possibilities. However, the current conditions require a lot of work. I hope that the folks in control endeavors to recover this course.

Bad
You better off putting in a gravel parking lot. Fairways have grass taken from highway medians. OMG. Should not be allowed to call this place a golf course.
Hire some groundskeepers for Pete’s sake.

The course has some nice scenery.
The course has improved quite a bit since I played it several years ago.
