Davie Golf & Country Club

Was a lot of fun. Course is in good shape. Every hole is totally different. Second time I played this week. First time we moved right along but today it was really slow. Had to skip a couple of holes to get away from some really slow foursomes.

Overall nice course. Not the most challenging course but definetly worth playing. If you don't like playing next to/or near water play another course. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

This is a nice track with a lot of challenges in the layout and the greens. Almost every hole comes with water hazards. The greens have a lot of undulations. The greens used to be very nice and fast. These greens are hard to find in South Florida. It was fun and challenging to play this course. However, the whole course conditions go downhill a lot. Even now the greens have a lot of weed patches and slow down to average speed. It's sad to see this city course goes in the wrong direction of not keeping up its maintenance. The course is still playable.

Like the layout not overly long but you can put yourself in a bad spot if not careful

The course is quite challenging with the water traps located around almost every hole in the Front nine. Couldn't get to the back 8 as the Heat of the day had got to me, but you know what they say.. GO HEAT!!

The staff keep rushing you. No coolers allowed but not any good choking from the cart just junk nithing healthy

The greens on this place are diabolical! The hazards are everywhere, so good ball control is a must. Everytime I play there I end up with more balls than I started mainly because I'm always looking for balls on the edges of the hazards. The grass on fairways and on fringes is super short so for those that strike the ball consistently will do well for those of us that do not rounds on the 100ds is not that uncommon. However, I always have fun there and I honestly don't care about my score when I play in Davie! It's just a fun place to lose some balls and find some balls

Great layout but in poor condition. Stupid system for buying anything on the course. They only take credit cards (which is reasonable). The stupid thing is that the cart girl needs to take one’s credit card and returns it sometime later. I elected to go into the club house beverage Unfortunately, they do not have the help to provide any service. Very unfortunate!

Golfed here many times, it is looking phenomenal right now. The cuts are all defined clearly, fast fun greens, play smart type of course. Clubhouse leaves much to be desired, driving range "meh." Brought a friend it was his first time here, he loved it

We had a 10:48 TEE TIME, and got out on time. Didn"t have to wait on any hole, and had a good time. All of the course staff were very helpful, friendly, and made us feel right at home with their pleasant attitudes. We will be back in the near future. Thanks for giving us a wonderful Saturday afternoon.

It is a very very average course. The course is in okay shape, I give it a pass in some cases since it is Summer. The one thing that irritated me about this course is the lack of consistency on the tee boxes. They do not use the standard blue, white, yellow, red markers which is completely fine with me but to not use a consistent color to represent the different tee boxes drove everyone in my group nuts. Some tee boxes had 4 different starting points, some had 3. What would be the men's tees seem to change between gold and silver horseshoes depending on the hole (the course only uses silver and gold tee box markers that alternate). My solution was to just play the second farthest back position. Overall, I had a fun time playing the course after the whole tee box fiasco.

Pretty hot day, but overall the course was fine. Middle of the summer 11am tee time, done in less than 3.5 hours. Course was dry, greens were okay, not a bad round for the cost. Would play again

Davie Golf and Country Club is a great course to play at. The only complaint that I really have is that the pace of play cane be horrendous sometimes, even for being a public course. I once played an almost 5 hour round here due to there being no ranger to keep the pace of play going. However, that isn't the norm and the course is beautiful and challenging, and most of the staff are great. I highly recommend
