Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course
About
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course is a nine-hole walking course, providing beginners and families with children a smaller venue. It is also a nice practice tune-up for the more advanced player or the busy traveler who has time for just nine holes.
Designed by Ron Garl, the par-36 golf course measures 2,913 yards from the back tees. Disney's Oak Trail's holes range from 132 to 517 yards, with undulating target greens.

Fun day at Oak Trail. Photo submitted by KingGeo3 on 12/28/2012
Hidden Gem
This course is usually overlooked in favor of the other Disney courses, but it is a wonderful walking 9. It is by no means a short course with 2 par 5s and very narrow fairways.
Its the perfect choice for a quick 9 after work any day of the week.
Nice 9 hole course
Nice walk and can play quickly. Greens are small. Presents a good challenge to the casual golfer. Not too simple, not too tricky. A bit pricey for a short 9 holes but you can typically find some deals on GolfNow or specials on the Disney website.
nice little course
Nice walking course. Worth the time if you can get a good deal.
Excellent course
I'm not sure if I played the right course today. The lady in the Pro shop told me to go across the cart path and that's where the first hole so I did. Once I cross the path, there was Magnolia and Palm course. Since there wasn't anyone in the Magnolia course and it was the shortest route so I play in the Magnolia course.
Boy I was wrong about walking today. There were like 3 Par 5s, 2 Par3s and the rest are long Par4s. The fairway was in excellent shape and the greens are also in excellent shape. I think I was the only person play/walking on this entire course. I started around 12PM and done by 1:30PM. There was like a golf event were people are going to every hole right before I finished up in 9th hole.
I did not experience any delay as I was the only one enjoying the course. It was like making a movie and I'm the super star. Highly recommend.
Fun Course. Holes 5,6,7 are a Good Test.
Excellent value. Great 9 hole walking course. Pace of play can be slow on weekends. Three holes on the backside are a legitimate test. Sand traps need improvement. Play it twice a week and enjoy it every time.
Strange set up
Played here so we could walk - some strange logistics for walkers
- pick up range balls about 300 yards from range
- only half the space on the range was open and about 5 people were waiting for a place to hit even though there was plenty of room for them to open it.
- starter was curt when asking about restrooms - restrooms are nowhere near the range.
- course had no restrooms for 9 holes and the round played 2 hours and 40 minutes for 9 holes
-the starter for oak trail is at the range and should have range balls available
- bathrooms need to be installed at the range and on the course
Would not go back due to these reasons
Good course for price
The course was fairly open and easy to play. It was easy to walk and had some lovely views. we enjoyed watching the turkeys on the course.
Short and Sweet
The Oak Trail course has to be the best value one could get from Disney's. I would love to play there again.
The best green fee.
For the value, nothing beat the Disney's Oak Trail.
walking course
good course. real challenge in the wind with small greens.
Great walking course however slow pace
Love this course, have played probably 15 times, over a few years, depending on the day,it can take between 2-3.5 hours,if you are a golfer who wants a quick 9 forget it!
GOOD FUN
Good value and quick play.
I could not post this because it said my text "Good value and quick play" was too short. How much do they want me to say? It was a nice course, the value was good and the play was quick! What else do people need to know from me? Do they want me to make things up? The grass was green, there was sand in the sand traps and the water was wet. There were no hills, up or down. I finished the 9 holes right back where I started - at the Starter's Shack. The longest walk was from the car to the Starter Shack and back to the car. They could use a shuttle service for people opting to walk.
Is that enough because if it rejects my comments again then I am not going to fill out any more of these forms.
Fun course
Great course to walk with some very challenging holes. Totally a walk in the park with all holes surrounded by nature.
nice day of golf
course was in good shape.checked in early and staff were able to get us out early.very professional but polite staff.
This course is perfect for young golfers.
Took our 5 year old, almost 6, and it was perfect. Greens were in perfect shape. Course was in good condition for winter. My wife and I could hit drivers on a few of the holes.
Disney does it right
This is a great 9 hole course and I expected nothing but the best from Disney. The 9 hole walking course provides some great challenges with water and woods. (Bring extra balls). Course wasn't too busy so it allowed for a great relaxing round.
Will definitely play here again
Disney Oak Trail
The course is worth the $10 fee from Golfnow. It's a normal length course, not a par 3. The fairways and greens are narrow/small.
Golf Round
Totally enjoyed myself with no pressure behind me as I walked the course which has a few holes that challenged me. I try an play at least 2 to 3 times when I am in Florida. This is a great course for a duffer that only plays a few times a year.
