Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course
About
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course is a nine-hole walking course, providing beginners and families with children a smaller venue. It is also a nice practice tune-up for the more advanced player or the busy traveler who has time for just nine holes.
Designed by Ron Garl, the par-36 golf course measures 2,913 yards from the back tees. Disney's Oak Trail's holes range from 132 to 517 yards, with undulating target greens.

Fun day at Oak Trail. Photo submitted by KingGeo3 on 12/28/2012
Lovely course and setting but greens need attention
Course has a lovely setting. Unfortunately some of the greens need attention and some of the fairways have deep holes caused by animals burrowing.
Great beginners course, very natural feeling
Playing at Disney's Oak Trail is great. This is a fun little walking nine hole course that can play technical and really challenge your mid and short game shots.
It is a family oriented golf course (It is at Disney after all) but don't let that make you think its not a fun course to play. That said, be patient and be ready to be patient. It is not uncommon to get stacked up behind less experienced people. If this happens, be patient, enjoy the beauty of the course and remember there was a time when you were learning too.
This course is not overly difficult but that's what makes it fun. Beginners will be comfortable playing, this can be a great first time course especially for young ones as most holes aren't overly long. More experienced players can still be challenged by needing to make a big variety of short to medium shots. Many of which will leave you in between clubs and needing to hit precise shots.
The course starts with a few fairly straight holes, then meanders out through the longer holes, including two par 5s, and finally back in for the final two holes. The course is naturally beautiful. I play this course often and see deer, turkey, and gators among a great variety of other wildlife.
Considering the amount of foot travel this course sees everyday, the folks at Disney do a great job keeping it in shape but expect some wear and tear to show. The fairways are in good shape for the most part but the bunkers tend to be pretty solid and the greens can be rough from traffic.
This is a fun course if you go knowing that it will likely be busy and the pace will be a bit slow but the natural beauty is outstanding and you will enjoy it.
Very nice course
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was in great shape. Very few water hazards, wide fairways, and nature all around. Great course
Great walking nine
Great staff with the Disney experience! My two boys (8 & 12) had a great time. A bit long to walk for younger juniors...ran out of gas around #6. Will play GolfNow.com pricing, but not full price. However, if you want to have a Disney golf experience for a few $$, this is it.
oak trail
the staff was brilliant the only issue was the greens werent in that good of condition. Mostly due to players not repairing, and some reseeding. Proshop
had some great deals as well and were very helpfull. They even provided a ride cart at no chagred due to my back issues, just comnfirmed that I had a parking pass for disabled to receive. For the basic and junoirs I highly recomand this course, for the more expencied player go with the mangolia!!!!! But do play Disney its worth it.
Family shoving snow and we had a great day of Golf
This was our 1st time at Oak trails and we loved it. From the time we arrived until we departed we were treated excellent by the staff. We very much liked the course and are planning to take our friends back with us later this week.

9 Holes Of Fun
Lets face it, Disney is a family vacation. 18 holes of golf can take some quality time away from the family. Disney's Oak Trail is the perfect solution to provide an upgraded 9 hole golf course (previously 6 holes) par 36. The price is great and you get a rare opportunity to actually walk. Best 1 hour and 40 minutes spent on the greens.
Average for Disney
We were a little disappointed by the appearance of the fairways and greens. The greens were not in pristine condition. We were expecting much more from Disney.
Perfect place for a round of golf!
Yet another great round of golf. First time was last year when we just started playing and now with somewhat more experience still a fun course. Love that's a walking trail! Made reservations for another round later this week :-))
Good for families with children
Thought we'd try a Disney course one morning in Orlando - expected Disney quality: green, well maintained and interesting. But it was in only fair condition and not a place for experienced golfers. Took over three hours for nine holes.
Everyone was super friendly
Didn't feel pressure taking my wife out for her first round of golf
Surprising course conditions for Disney
Hey, don't get me wrong, my wife and I found a great deal on GolfNow.com for $30.00 for 9 holes of walking which is an amazing deal for a Disney Course. The greens rolled really well and they were true and they also provided a challenge as they were fairly small which surprised me again as the practice putting green was "huge" and beautifully manicured. What surprised m the most was the condition of the fairways and bunkers. Some bunkers lacked sand depth and the edges were not maintained like I would have expected and back to the fairways, they were quite thin in spots and lots of divots not repaired. I am a 10 handicap so I play a fair amount of different golf course and I just thought being a Disney course, I would have experienced something really special....Maybe that's why the fabulous deal on the green fee.
great experience
We played on Valentine's Day and Oak Trail was awesome! Fairways were in good shape, greens were also nice ( and pretty quick). Some of the tee boxer could use a little work but overall a great experience, good mix of holes, great track for tuning your game or simply enjoying the atmosphere!
Good beginner course
Lots of short holes, only went here since i was with my 3 year old and did not want to spend a ton of money on him, keep the drive in the bag for most holes, also no lounge for ice cream and beer after
What sun in the sunshine state?
For the money this little course is good. We booked on golf now for $12. It is a short course but some challenging holes. As other reviews holes 5,6,7 are fun and offer a challenge. The rest of the course is really not in good shape and could use a little TLC and would be nice. As you play, you are teased with the sister courses that Disney offers.
For what we paid it was fun even given the weather. If we would have paid more than it would not have been worth the value.
Disney Delight
Great little course, just right to get you in the swing for greater challenges ahead. I play this course on the first day or two of my golfing vacation and I find it perfect to get back into the groove after a few weeks lay off whilst experiencing cold english conditions.
slow, but great value.
A nice little 9 hole walking course. Not easy by any means, and a great value through Golfnow. I wouldn't pay the regular prices, a little steep, particularly when the course is crowded.
Bring the Kids!
This is the ideal course for beginners and especially children. A short course that is only to be walked. A great introduction to the game for the young ones and family. I don't know if there are rules on the number of players per group... I'm sure 10 would be frowned upon but I've seen as many as 6 or 7 in a group with just a few actually playing golf.
The best part is that it's an entire golf course with not a house to be seen. You actually feel as if you're in nature.
Great course for a quick game or for Jr's
This course was good to bring kids too. It's also a good course to get a quick game in during your vacation. If your not staying on the disney property then leave early because you have to wait in line to get into Magic Kingdom in order to get to this course. We had a bit of a lineup and we just made our tee time.
