Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course
About
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course is a nine-hole walking course, providing beginners and families with children a smaller venue. It is also a nice practice tune-up for the more advanced player or the busy traveler who has time for just nine holes.
Designed by Ron Garl, the par-36 golf course measures 2,913 yards from the back tees. Disney's Oak Trail's holes range from 132 to 517 yards, with undulating target greens.

Fun day at Oak Trail. Photo submitted by KingGeo3 on 12/28/2012
Great family walking course. Fun junior tees for the youngsters.
This was a fun course to take the kids to play or to play a quick walking 9. The fairways and greens were in great shape; only a few not perfect spots between some greens and the next set of tees. If you have kids I suggest to pay for the rental push cart, if you don't have one, as the free ones are less than worthless.
Fantastic course, beautiful setting
Oak Trail is a lovely 9 hole course and maintained at the same high standard as Magnolia and Palm. Hole 5 is a fantastic 517yd 'S' shaped hole and probably the hardest hole on the course but a pleasure to play. I would recommend this course to anybody - take your time and enjoy.
Nice course.
Speed of play was slow but that was expected. Would be nice to have ice water available on hot days.
would not recommend playing this course if coming to disney.
spend time at the park or downtown disney or spend extra and pay the other quality disney courses. but this course is a very poor example of a disney quality/arnold palmer named. cours. the best part of the course was the sign as we approached the tee box. weeds everywhere, tee boxes were mostly dirt without grass. if you get a chance to play the disney oak trail walking course dont waste your time and i am a disney vacation club member and annual pass holder. just so you know i am PRO disney. dont waste time on the walking trail course unless you understand what you are paying for
Reasonable value close to everything
Although not the best course in the best shape, it's close to everything, if you're family is in town for a Disney vacation. I took my daughter and she was not overwhelmed by the 2900-yard course. However, there were a few challenging holes for me. It's for families and a relatively inexpensive round.
Nice but expensive walking course
Sloooooooow play. We were caught behind a group of 3 ? first timers. On a par three one girl had 22 strokes!!!!! Also they pulled their pull carts across every green and never once repaired a divot.
For a course charging so much, you might expect better management.
Fun place to play!
Disney's Oak Trail course is in excellent condition and the staff makes it a fun, friendly place to play. The walkable 9 hole has some manageable par 3's and some longer and more challenging par 5's. It's a perfect course to get back in playing rythym or for keeping your short game in check.
A great course for beginning golfers.
I took my wife here on her second golfing trip and she really enjoyed it. We didn't feel pressured to hurry our round and this was with a 9:00 tee time. We were able to take our time so that she could enjoy learning. The course was great for beginners yet still tough enough for experienced golfers to feel challenged. The staff was friendly and helpful. My wife really liked all of the wildlife along the course as well.
surpriseinly good
Thought this was a "Mickey Mouse" 9 hole par three course but was pleasantly supprised. There are par 4 and par 5 holes that are very good. The fairways are narrow so even on the shorter holes you have to be accurate off the tees. The greens were super fast and in good condition. It took us over 2 hours to play 9 holes but there had been a two hour frost delay so everything was backed up. Good value when booked on line but wouldn't want to pay more than $20 to play the 9 holes.
Pleasant 9 hole walk
When you play I suggest you rent ($6) one of their 3 wheeled carts that you can push as well as pull. We were given a old 2 wheeled cart at the pro shop which we exchanged at the first tee. Pushing made the walk very enjoyable for me. Expect to be treated like a 2nd class golfer at the pro shop as the big money comes from the 18 hole golfers.
Great walking course.
This course is fun and still quite challenging. It is easy to walk and a good option for nine holes.
It was well maintained and the greens were true and very fast. Winter time does that.
Fun and relaxing
Nice 9 hole, walking only track. Staff is exactly what you would expect from a Disney cast member.
Course is straight forward, a little tight and in good shape.
I was first one out so no delays at all, finished 9 in under 2 hours.
Great scenery, several big turkeys, lots of birds!
It was a really good couple of hours.
A nice walk
If you are looking for something to do while you walk this may be for you. However I do not really care for this course. Tiny fast greens do appeal to me. On at least one hole the pin placement was in a location that the ball could not stay within 25 feet if you placed it. However, I like to walk and play. With the casual wildlife and nice setting I will go back. Hated the course but I appreciate the nice walk.
For a 9 hole course it is a good one
The greens were rolled well and had good speed. It's a resort course though so dont plan on a quick 9
Convenient 9 hole Disney course that looks like it gets a great deal of play. They appear to be addressing the course conditions.
Deer, birds, alligators, a walk in the sunshine...how could you NOT enjoy 9 holes of golf on Oak Trail?!!
depends on what you pay for it
course was nicely maintained although not quite up to par with the other disney courses. Many players here are disney premium members and have free access to this course so it gets pretty packed. A great course for a nice stroll when you have ample time.
This course has great greens.
I felt like I was putting like a Pro. The greens are easy to read and fast.
Good fun walking course.
A fine way to spend an afternoon walking. Good pace of play and a fun, somewhat challenging layout. Greens were a bit bumpy and sand traps were hard....but good value overall
Only good for the beginners expecting same from other beginners.
rather disappointing! got tee time for 2:40 pm; got there 2:15 but no practice balls available (we'll waiting for it to come in)! Went to 1st tee, spotter immediately stated that "it's a little slow, so just go when you're ready." Had a family of 4 2 groups ahead with kids, and waited, and waited. Group ahead was father and teenage son. Father was just hacking and hacking away and playing multiple balls. Lucked out and went out with local of about same caliber (20 handicap). Some areas just needed repair but not done, especially at tee boxes. 9 holes took 3 hours and costed $35! Will play at Waldorf Astoria course tomorrow for $70 for 18 with cart.
Great times at Disney Oak Trail!
Even though the weather did not cooperate - this was a really fun course to play with my 7 year old daughter. The course is walking only, you can rent a pull cart if you do not want to carry your bag, and the pace is slow for families. That being said it is not an easy course at all and is a good challenge. The Disney staff of course also provide a top notch experience.
