Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course
About
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course is a nine-hole walking course, providing beginners and families with children a smaller venue. It is also a nice practice tune-up for the more advanced player or the busy traveler who has time for just nine holes.
Designed by Ron Garl, the par-36 golf course measures 2,801 yards from the back tees. Disney's Oak Trail's holes range from 132 to 517 yards, with undulating target greens.

Surprising course conditions for Disney
Hey, don't get me wrong, my wife and I found a great deal on GolfNow.com for $30.00 for 9 holes of walking which is an amazing deal for a Disney Course. The greens rolled really well and they were true and they also provided a challenge as they were fairly small which surprised me again as the practice putting green was "huge" and beautifully manicured. What surprised m the most was the condition of the fairways and bunkers. Some bunkers lacked sand depth and the edges were not maintained like I would have expected and back to the fairways, they were quite thin in spots and lots of divots not repaired. I am a 10 handicap so I play a fair amount of different golf course and I just thought being a Disney course, I would have experienced something really special....Maybe that's why the fabulous deal on the green fee.
great experience
We played on Valentine's Day and Oak Trail was awesome! Fairways were in good shape, greens were also nice ( and pretty quick). Some of the tee boxer could use a little work but overall a great experience, good mix of holes, great track for tuning your game or simply enjoying the atmosphere!
Good beginner course
Lots of short holes, only went here since i was with my 3 year old and did not want to spend a ton of money on him, keep the drive in the bag for most holes, also no lounge for ice cream and beer after
What sun in the sunshine state?
For the money this little course is good. We booked on golf now for $12. It is a short course but some challenging holes. As other reviews holes 5,6,7 are fun and offer a challenge. The rest of the course is really not in good shape and could use a little TLC and would be nice. As you play, you are teased with the sister courses that Disney offers.
For what we paid it was fun even given the weather. If we would have paid more than it would not have been worth the value.
Disney Delight
Great little course, just right to get you in the swing for greater challenges ahead. I play this course on the first day or two of my golfing vacation and I find it perfect to get back into the groove after a few weeks lay off whilst experiencing cold english conditions.
slow, but great value.
A nice little 9 hole walking course. Not easy by any means, and a great value through Golfnow. I wouldn't pay the regular prices, a little steep, particularly when the course is crowded.
Bring the Kids!
This is the ideal course for beginners and especially children. A short course that is only to be walked. A great introduction to the game for the young ones and family. I don't know if there are rules on the number of players per group... I'm sure 10 would be frowned upon but I've seen as many as 6 or 7 in a group with just a few actually playing golf.
The best part is that it's an entire golf course with not a house to be seen. You actually feel as if you're in nature.
Great course for a quick game or for Jr's
This course was good to bring kids too. It's also a good course to get a quick game in during your vacation. If your not staying on the disney property then leave early because you have to wait in line to get into Magic Kingdom in order to get to this course. We had a bit of a lineup and we just made our tee time.
Best nine hole for the prices
Good course for the price, challenging and long in some spots, will definitely play again.
Good for first timers
This course is located by the Magnolia on Disney property. I played it by myself. I had not played the course before so I wasn't sure what to expect. The course has 6 short holes, and 3 legit holes. I drove the first green and made birdie. The middle stretch of holes would compete with any of the other holes on Disney property.
There was a couple in front of me and the woman was a first timer. I think this course is good for people just learning the game or for kids. I would only recommend it if you want to get a quick nine in and work on some things. No carts, but the walk was easy.
Nice for a quick nine.
Finished in just over 2 hours (walking). Course is not maintained as well as the 18 hole courese Disney has. Still a nice walking 9 hole course.
pour débutants et familles
parcours simple et agréable, qualité des pelouses moyenne, le plus désagréable étant les tee times trop proches les uns des autres, créant des attentes récurantes à tous les trous.
Nice Walk
This is all walking course. Well maintained 2 par 5s challenging but,not difficult, Few water Hazards and moderately open fairways. I have played here twice and had a good time. Want to play 9 and get in a good walk. This place will not disappoint
Quick 9 Hole
Course is a walking only 9 hole course. It is an average course good to get in some practice and not spend to much time out there. It is great for a nice workout. It has 2 par 5's and you have to walk it. If you want to get in so9me exercise and still make it home early good place to do it and it's ih Disney
Family fun
Course is great for families. Short holes and smooth greens. Despite the value for our round, staff still treat you like royalty.
9 holes walking $38 is pricey
Disney Oak Trails (3 out of 5 stars) is a 9 holes walking course Cost is $38 all day rate. I played at 4:15 tee time which is not worth it even though I was able to get it for $29 thru GN. Since I was out of town, add $15 to rent clubs (if u are disney guest) and another $6 for pull cart. They should have twilight rates. Course itself was average. Considering you can play Disney Magnolia (5 stars) for $49 for 18 holes w/cart and $20 for club rentals (Disney guest rate) starting tee time at 3 pm, u are better off playing 18 holes on a great golf course, played by PGA professionals! I played that course the day before! Disney Palm was closed under renovation and will open in the Nov/Dec time frame. Palm, Magnolia and Oak Trail are next to each other! I also played Disney Buena Vista thru GN this past Sunday for a great hot deal. I give that course 4 stars. All in all a good golf trip for me! Rates are higher for non-Disney guest!
Beautiful scenery but course is in rough shape.
Expected more from a Disney course. Drainage a big issue, greens just aerated (but no one told us this!), muddy traps. Not worth the money.
Love this course except pace was slow
We enjoyed playing this course. However, it took over four hours to play nine holes because of the extreme overbooking in the 8:30-10:00 time window.
Walking only
Advise paying extra for pull cart.
Small greens
Not too difficult
Nice stroll
Great nine holes
This isn't really a normal nine hole course, it is more like half of an 18 hole regulation course. Many of the holes are quite long. This is nice for the regular nine hole player like myself. Since I golf with my two young boys it was to play on holes that were longer than 200 yards. The only problem was that the foursome with two children in front of us took forever. By the time I could tee off and so the group in front wouldn't get hit, the twosome behind us were on the tee with us. They should have had someone go by. If my kids are playing poorly and moving slow, I pick up their bag and sometimes even have them pick up their ball to move things along. The other part that was a let down was that the water fountains on the course were out in the open and hot to the touch. It would have been nice if the one soda machine had been in working order. And there were no bathrooms except back at the clubhouse.
