Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course
About
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course is a nine-hole walking course, providing beginners and families with children a smaller venue. It is also a nice practice tune-up for the more advanced player or the busy traveler who has time for just nine holes.
Designed by Ron Garl, the par-36 golf course measures 2,913 yards from the back tees. Disney's Oak Trail's holes range from 132 to 517 yards, with undulating target greens.

Fun day at Oak Trail. Photo submitted by KingGeo3 on 12/28/2012
pour débutants et familles
parcours simple et agréable, qualité des pelouses moyenne, le plus désagréable étant les tee times trop proches les uns des autres, créant des attentes récurantes à tous les trous.
Nice Walk
This is all walking course. Well maintained 2 par 5s challenging but,not difficult, Few water Hazards and moderately open fairways. I have played here twice and had a good time. Want to play 9 and get in a good walk. This place will not disappoint
Quick 9 Hole
Course is a walking only 9 hole course. It is an average course good to get in some practice and not spend to much time out there. It is great for a nice workout. It has 2 par 5's and you have to walk it. If you want to get in so9me exercise and still make it home early good place to do it and it's ih Disney
Family fun
Course is great for families. Short holes and smooth greens. Despite the value for our round, staff still treat you like royalty.
9 holes walking $38 is pricey
Disney Oak Trails (3 out of 5 stars) is a 9 holes walking course Cost is $38 all day rate. I played at 4:15 tee time which is not worth it even though I was able to get it for $29 thru GN. Since I was out of town, add $15 to rent clubs (if u are disney guest) and another $6 for pull cart. They should have twilight rates. Course itself was average. Considering you can play Disney Magnolia (5 stars) for $49 for 18 holes w/cart and $20 for club rentals (Disney guest rate) starting tee time at 3 pm, u are better off playing 18 holes on a great golf course, played by PGA professionals! I played that course the day before! Disney Palm was closed under renovation and will open in the Nov/Dec time frame. Palm, Magnolia and Oak Trail are next to each other! I also played Disney Buena Vista thru GN this past Sunday for a great hot deal. I give that course 4 stars. All in all a good golf trip for me! Rates are higher for non-Disney guest!
Beautiful scenery but course is in rough shape.
Expected more from a Disney course. Drainage a big issue, greens just aerated (but no one told us this!), muddy traps. Not worth the money.
Love this course except pace was slow
We enjoyed playing this course. However, it took over four hours to play nine holes because of the extreme overbooking in the 8:30-10:00 time window.
Walking only
Advise paying extra for pull cart.
Small greens
Not too difficult
Nice stroll
Great nine holes
This isn't really a normal nine hole course, it is more like half of an 18 hole regulation course. Many of the holes are quite long. This is nice for the regular nine hole player like myself. Since I golf with my two young boys it was to play on holes that were longer than 200 yards. The only problem was that the foursome with two children in front of us took forever. By the time I could tee off and so the group in front wouldn't get hit, the twosome behind us were on the tee with us. They should have had someone go by. If my kids are playing poorly and moving slow, I pick up their bag and sometimes even have them pick up their ball to move things along. The other part that was a let down was that the water fountains on the course were out in the open and hot to the touch. It would have been nice if the one soda machine had been in working order. And there were no bathrooms except back at the clubhouse.
Pleasantly surprised
As a tourist from Northern Ireland just looking for an unplanned inexpensive outing this was ideal. The course is well maintained and staff are Disney friendly and professional. Short par 4s boost the ego and some holes are dificult enough. Downside is possibly lots of kids and starters playing so not for people who take it too seriously or the impatient. Great for a holiday outing and 9 holes are ideal in the summer heat.
Great w/ Kids
I brought my 9 year old to play on Saturday and had a great experience. My son is 9, and this Disney walking course provides a great venue for kids. We walked, hit shots, and enjoyed all the nature on property. For anyone looking to play with a junior. I recommend.
This course is fun to play. Reminds of other narrow courses in Central Florida.
Oak Trail 9 Hole course is a challenge. I enjoyed the round and will return, especially for the price.
Cheers!
Great family walking course. Fun junior tees for the youngsters.
This was a fun course to take the kids to play or to play a quick walking 9. The fairways and greens were in great shape; only a few not perfect spots between some greens and the next set of tees. If you have kids I suggest to pay for the rental push cart, if you don't have one, as the free ones are less than worthless.
Fantastic course, beautiful setting
Oak Trail is a lovely 9 hole course and maintained at the same high standard as Magnolia and Palm. Hole 5 is a fantastic 517yd 'S' shaped hole and probably the hardest hole on the course but a pleasure to play. I would recommend this course to anybody - take your time and enjoy.
Nice course.
Speed of play was slow but that was expected. Would be nice to have ice water available on hot days.
would not recommend playing this course if coming to disney.
spend time at the park or downtown disney or spend extra and pay the other quality disney courses. but this course is a very poor example of a disney quality/arnold palmer named. cours. the best part of the course was the sign as we approached the tee box. weeds everywhere, tee boxes were mostly dirt without grass. if you get a chance to play the disney oak trail walking course dont waste your time and i am a disney vacation club member and annual pass holder. just so you know i am PRO disney. dont waste time on the walking trail course unless you understand what you are paying for
Reasonable value close to everything
Although not the best course in the best shape, it's close to everything, if you're family is in town for a Disney vacation. I took my daughter and she was not overwhelmed by the 2900-yard course. However, there were a few challenging holes for me. It's for families and a relatively inexpensive round.
Nice but expensive walking course
Sloooooooow play. We were caught behind a group of 3 ? first timers. On a par three one girl had 22 strokes!!!!! Also they pulled their pull carts across every green and never once repaired a divot.
For a course charging so much, you might expect better management.
Fun place to play!
Disney's Oak Trail course is in excellent condition and the staff makes it a fun, friendly place to play. The walkable 9 hole has some manageable par 3's and some longer and more challenging par 5's. It's a perfect course to get back in playing rythym or for keeping your short game in check.
A great course for beginning golfers.
I took my wife here on her second golfing trip and she really enjoyed it. We didn't feel pressured to hurry our round and this was with a 9:00 tee time. We were able to take our time so that she could enjoy learning. The course was great for beginners yet still tough enough for experienced golfers to feel challenged. The staff was friendly and helpful. My wife really liked all of the wildlife along the course as well.
