Mt. Woodson Golf Club

Greens are going through some work, played the day after sanding and it was better than a week later when I went back they were super slow and very unpredictable lines. Pro shop staff always seem to be whatever to see anyone checking in, starters are always nice and the cooks are great friendly people, water around the course seems to be in rough shape, I’m guessing there’s some kind of poison in the water because there were two still ducks with there head down in the pond on hole 7 next to the entrance of the course. It was definitely a vibe killer seeing that. Seems like they’re not taking full care like they use to? Such a fun layout though. Hope to see it 100% or close to it sometime again

The views are spectacular, the course is well maintained, and the staff is great. Challenging but no overly difficult. Highly recommended!

The course conditions are currently horrendous. They aerified the greens on Oct. 2. The management offered no discounted tee times whatsoever even though the course is essentially unplayable. They also force all singles to pair up. If you want your own cart, they charge an insanely high additional fee. Generally the staff was rude and hard to deal with. Hard pass!

This place is amazing! For sure my new favorite course I’ve ever played and I plan on going back regularly. They don’t offer a membership but if they had one I’d be in

I love using Golf Now; it is super easy to book tee times and look for the right course to play on that day.

I recommend that all golf buddies use Golf Now for anything golf related.

It is located on Mountain. So they has very good sightseeing courses.

So apparently you can only golf here if you know someone else to go with you, what course only lets doubles golf not singles what a joke!! Never played here never will. Some people like to golf by themself not some strangers

Really enjoyed my first round at Mt Woodson. Fairly remote but very scenic and unique course. Target style golf. Pace of play was excellent. Condition of the tee boxes was the only complaint, they were horrendous.

Will definitely return.

Tee boxes were rough. No sand in traps. Greens bumpy. Balls lost in deep rough. Not a bad deal for $50 hot deal but still a little rough around the edges.

Beautiful Views, super nice bridges. The course layout is awesome.

Mt Woodson did not come highly recommend. My golf coach doesn't like it at all but I wanted to give it another chance. Truth be told it's rather narrow and there are a couple of holes that are extremely difficult to get to but if you play the course a few times you get the hang of it and you start to appreciate the design and the beauty of the area.

My twosome was put together with a visitor from LA and he just couldn't get over how rugged and beautiful the area is.

Bring some extra balls, declair a practice round and go after it. Come back and play for a score.

I think you will like it.

Course in great condition. Recommend front-tee for beginners, especially the front none. You'll loose a lot of balls if you spray. I didn't play well and lost a half-dozen balls.
