About
Mt. Woodson Golf Club is one of San Diego County's most popular courses for a number of reasons, one being the spectacular setting. Nestled in the Ramona Valley, the course is sprawls across a dramatic landscape of towering oak trees, enormous granite boulders, and sparkling blue lakes. Nearly every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding mountains and canyons. It is also known for being one of the most challenging and well maintained layouts in the area. The tight fairways and small greens demand accuracy. There are also plenty of interesting elevation changes throughout. The golf course offers true target-style golf that will test the shot-making abilities of even the most experienced players. One of the most unique features of the course is the 450-foot wooden bridge that winds through the treetops.

Greatest course i have ever played!!! EVER!
I am down from Idaho and played here with my buddy Ray who flew in from England. I have play alot of beautiful and fun resort courses in the N.W. over the past 40 years. As we began playing Mt. Woodson we were more and more amazed at beauty and the character of the course. The layout was extraordinary and the scenery spectacular. The fairways were in good shape and the greens were near perfect. And here's the real kicker; we payed $45 to ride 18!! The experience was well worth 4 times that(seriously!)

Beautiful course even in the heat of summer, but tough as nails for a sub-6000 yard course. Bring your A game or lots of balls.
A beautiful course
Mt Woodson is a beautiful golf course in great shape. A challenge from the back tees a fun round from the whites the course is as good as it gets in SoCal...you could pay much more but not find a course that's this nice for the value...Will return soon to play again
EXTRA CHARGE
i paid a good price to play but was charged for a non playing rider.. He was unable to olay because of injury. I just dont understand the need to charge for an adult ride along.
This is an amazing course!
We will be back to play more. Very impressive! It’s so unique. George, the starter was so helpful and friendly. He gave us a lot of information on playing the course and loved the history of the property. Really liked him. Loved the course!
Fun Fun Unique course
This is one of our favorite courses to play when we visit San Diego! It had very unique rock formations with lots of level changes! ! It’s a Short course but fun!
Very inexpensive and was in great condition! I recommend playing !
Course was in good condition, pace of play was great - 3.75 hours
Course was in very good shape. Staff and starter were friendly. Pace was great, we finished in 3:45. No complaints. Always a fun course to play.
Great views surrounded by greater views
1st thing was outstanding staff at golf shop check in. Great flow and beautiful course on picture perfect day in San diego County. Appreciate the hard work the staff puts out to make this day truly enjoyable.
