Mt. Woodson Golf Club

If you like Mountain golf Woodson will not disappoint. Great course lay out using the natural topography of the Mountain and ravines. Lots of elevation change and undulations. Large eucalyptus trees shape many tee shots and driver is not required on many holes. The greens were in great shape. Would definitely play again.

First playing at Mt Woodson. Was recommended by friend this course about require precious shot. It is all about shot precision. Course condition is good, green is bit bumpy.

I don’t where to begin. All my experiences with play and staff and amenities on this course were great. The layout and beauty of the course was simply amazing. The course was challenging but not so difficult that one couldn’t enjoy it. The views were phenomenal and layout was well done. I recommend any golfers in the area to play here. I will definitely like to play it again when I’m visiting the area.

I accidentally selected only 1 person when making my reservations. They let us play as five as long as kept pace, which of course we did. He actually came out and checked on us, which was completely professional as well.

I made a reservation for 3 players through GolfNow for Oct. 14, Saturday @10:40 AM. One of the players got hurt the night before and texted me at 9 PM - too late for me to call the course. When I checked in and told the person at the pro shop about the person not being able to make it, he responded with a very rude way, “And you couldn’t call us?” When I told him that I got the notice late in the evening, he replied, “I don’t care. We still have to pay GolfNow”. So I offer to pay the penalty - but he charged me the whole greens fee of $80. I did pay the whole $80, but do you pay the whole $80 to GolfNow.com? And did he have to be so rude? Things do happen to people where they just can’t make the tee time. I realize that we need to give you plenty of time for the slot to be filled, but you also have to understand that things happen to people unexpectedly. Also, you don’t have to be so rude about it. I liked the course but had a very bad experience while checking in.

Great course. Greens and Fairways are in conditions. Better than most private courses.

Fun and challenging layout with elevation changes and some great views. Course was in great condition and greens rolled true. Highly recommend this course.

This is a nice course, but they have a tiny parking lot. This can be a real problem if the course is at all crowded. Since the course is located inside of a gated housing development, there is no additional street parking. This is not a small issue as you could literally have to wait 15 to 30 minutes (or more) in your car until a space opens up. We missed our tee time due to this issue.
