Mt. Woodson Golf Club

Fun and challenging layout with elevation changes and some great views. Course was in great condition and greens rolled true. Highly recommend this course.

This is a nice course, but they have a tiny parking lot. This can be a real problem if the course is at all crowded. Since the course is located inside of a gated housing development, there is no additional street parking. This is not a small issue as you could literally have to wait 15 to 30 minutes (or more) in your car until a space opens up. We missed our tee time due to this issue.

Greens punched last week...so a bit slow but decent. Still a little disease? on some green edges, but not bad.

I love the layout, scenery and the challenge of this track… however, the tee boxes are in horrible shape, and the greens were aerated. If there was a notification of the aeration when booking online…it was so subtle I missed it. Bunkers were great…lots of fresh, soft sand…and that’s even on a cool, wet morning.

So to summarize, the tee boxes were crap and the greens were crap (this week) but everything in between was fun!

Thr greens were arrated and were bumpy and we were not warned

No one let us know that we had to play back 9 twice and price did not differ.

The pace of play was extremely slow on the back nine and the Marshall should have come out and done something about it. There were literally people waiting behind us while we were waiting to tee off, players in the fairway, players on the green, and players, just getting to the next home. Unacceptable!

First time playing and was impressed with the layout. Its a shorter course, but is still challenging with elevated tees and a good amount of holes where you need to choose shots wisely. Generally well kept, good views, will be back to play again. Definitely recommend!
