Mt. Woodson Golf Club

Very tight driving course, and a number of holes are uphill and in the wind. Overall, very enjoyable course with a lot of character.

First of all, the starter was very nice. The course was in very good condition and the beer was great after the round.

It’s a shorter course but very narrow. It’s very well kept all around

Recently this course has started to force single golfers to share a cart. If you want your own cart, it is now at least an additional $25. They also don't apply the policy evenly. When I was there, it was only single golfers who booked through Golfnow that were forced to share a cart. The "regulars" got their own carts.

Challenging course. Bring lots of balls if you don’t hit them straight!!!

Every thing is great, but need marshal to keep pace of play moving.

I love the course layout at mount Woodson. But the course conditions are fair to poor at this time. Lots of bare ground and tight lies due to spotty grass. If not for that, I'd give this course five stars. The one plus are the greens are in very good shape.

I am a realistic golfer. I know when I play in the afternoon it will be slower. However, there should never be a 5+ hour round when everyone is in a cart and can drive to their ball. The group in front of us had at least 2 holes open and they didn’t give 2 fudges about it. They backed up the course so bad there were 3 groups on a par 5. And the Marshal saw it and did nothing to move them. When we complained at turn to them pro shop, that guy could care less. He suggested we skip a hole. His attitude was terrible and said nothing I can do. This didn’t just ruin it for our group but every group behind us. I really like this course, but show you care a little more about the 20+ people who were stuck on a 20-minute per hole pace. Unreal!

Very pretty course. Unique and challenging especially if you haven’t played it before.
