About
Heritage Harbour Golf Club (formerly known as Stoneybrook Golf Club at Heritage Harbour) plays through a landscape highlighted by mature, wooded wetland preserves and ponds. The golf course plays through spacious residential corridors, creating strategic risk/reward holes. At approximately 7,100 yards, multiple tees allow the golf course to be enjoyed by players of all abilities. The golfer who succeeds at challenging the hazards and angles will be rewarded with the proper angle for the next shot and an opportunity for a birdie. Designed by Arthur Hills, one of the world's top golf course designers, Heritage Harbour Golf Club is located just a half mile east of I-75 at exit 220.

Shocking
If you wish to give a voucher then at least have the respect for the customer when having a request I think that if a customer requests a glass and is offering to stay for lunch no big deal , except I was told that I could only have the beer in plastic cups if using the voucher otherwise you need to pay for your beer
I won’t be back in the restaurant as for golf a little steep for the conditions otherwise really good

Voucher
A nice gesture I’ll handled, we were given a voucher for one free beer so after finishing the round we all decided to head in and have the beer with a little lunch just to support the club, when ordering the beer we noticed that they were going to serve the beer in a plastic cup I immediately asked if we could have the beer in glass a flat no was the answer I said that we would be staying for lunch and would prefer it in glass she flat refused and said if we want in glass we would have to pay for the beer so having lunch meant nothing I found this to be ridiculous and probably will never use the club pub again.
What happened to the customer appreciation really.

Heritage harbour is worth the money
Overall the course is in decent shape. It’s less expensive than many of the courses in Bradenton.
The greens rolled true, but we’re a little slow and needed to be cut.
The biggest issue was with the golf carts. The new technology keeps you from driving the cart if you’re in an area they don’t want carts. Some of those areas were in the fairway and rough. Some were near the green with no signs for carts to go no further
Cart woman was pleasant and friendly. Staff in the pro shop and the starter also pleasant and friendly.

Reconstruction
The course played well, greens were tough to get balls to stay on and relatively quick. With the changing of some holes and reassignment of new hole numbers and location a bit more signage would help. My 4 some enjoyed the the round, the cart attendant and the complimentary beer after our round was complete.

First tee was backed up by 5 groups and tee’d off 35 minutes late. New course design is poor by stacking extra holes into course. New tee boxes are too close to greens and have you looking over your should for an errant shot from group behind

This golf course is slightly better than Misty Creek with much better value.

Not worth the $
Not what I was expecting for course conditions - not in good shape.
More on course signage needed to direct players
GPS cart control system would turn your cart off when in an area that you thought you were ok to be in.
Cart girl was outstanding and had plenty of selections. Odd that once you leave the clubhouse to play, you don’t return until finishing the 18th hole.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and apologized for some of the course conditions - said they did a major renovation this past summer.

As it relates to turf conditions in “winter” months of January & February, the off color yellow brown conditions are related to multiple days of heavy frost we experienced in late January. During Winter, turf color does not rush back to green and lush due to night time temps staying below 60 degrees for most of Jan / Feb / and often into March. The Greens can take on a purple, yellow, or brown hue during cold snaps and we treat them weekly with liquid fertilizer to bring them back to a greener tint. The dry winter conditions (with very limited rainfall) do create firm and fast conditions and tighter fairways. Overall, in the marketplace we have priced ourselves accordingly and offer a very good value during the high demand months. Our Starters and Rangers do their best to keep players on pace but in certain circumstances players can get unruly and somewhat vulgar at times. Finally, this summer we plan to renovate the entire golf course, new greens, new turfgrass, rebuilt bunkers, and new laser-leveled tee boxes with new turfgrass. In the Fall, we will reopen and have an entirely new fresh look. Thank you for your time and we hope you will consider visiting again.

Love the layout
Weather was beautiful. Everyone was super friendly. Course is coming around. I loved changes made. It will just take take some time but you can tell they are trying hard to improve conditions. Greens rolled fast but were very hard and wouls not hold good shots.

The overall condition of the course was good especially the greens and bunkers. I just don't like having 4 par 3s on the back nine which was under 3000 yards from the black tees.

What Happened?
Played this course a few times in years past while visiting the area for the holidays. Prior to booking this trip, read they had recently renovated to improve? Changes leave a lot to be desired. The routing has now become a confusing mess and course conditions are poor at best. The greens are hard as the cement pavement out on I-75. They chopped up some nice par 4's converting them to par 3's and short 4's. Doubtful I will ever return.
