Good course for the price. I am traveling from NJ to FL and decided to spend some time checking out the local courses. This one with a Tee time of 8 AM for the price was just too much to pass on. Overall the course is in good condition and makes you think on a few holes (8 being one). The beverage cart was alongside us all day which was awesome. The biggest issue I had was with the pace of the greens. This can be improved a million miles and will increase the attraction a lot.

Very Good Condition

Course was in Very Good Condition - I know alot of courses have gone to using mats at the driving range which I understand, but I sure miss practicing on real grass before playing... Greens in great shape, fairways were very playable but a little hard, overall a great day to play a very nice course!

Awesome experience

The round of golf was one of the best that I shot my friend and I played 18 holes and they had everything from the cart person delivering drinks serving coffee and hot chocolate because it was cool that day the staff was very friendly the greens were rolling true and overall excellent golf outing

Grumpy players

I have played this course consistently over the past two years and always enjoyed myself. This past Sunday, I guess some (rude) players with zero golf etiquette played through our threesome without communication. The Ranger said we were a little behind (we were on hole 16 and nobody said a word ALL DAY). Then, after finishing 18, I guess Tiger Woods needed complete and utter silence for his putt (we were standing 100+ feet away up on the cart path) and rudely asked us to be quiet. Never experienced RUDE at Magnolia before, and I (we) play there a lot. We will play it again, but if Tiger and the play throughers are as rude as Sunday, well, plenty of courses. Hit em' straight fellas and gals:)

Greens are slow

The greens are slow but they putt true. The bunkers are filled with an excellent type of sand - not hard packed but not too fluffy either and the fairways were very good. This is a very good course but could be improved by speeding up the greens.
