Redland Golf & Country Club

About
Redland Golf & Country Club hosts numerous events each year, including the Homestead Amateur Golf Classic. The course has been a popular event venue since opening in 1947. The versatile layout is perfect for tournaments since it combines challenging holes with player-friendly features. The diverse sets of tees also add to the course's versatility. The back tees are a formidable test for seasoned golfers. Long, straight shots will be rewarded though if your shots are slightly errant, the golf course is still quite forgiving. The greens are small but they provide enough room to hit. It is tough at times and depending on the wind, it can be even more challenging. In addition to the golf course, Redland claims to have the best driving rang in south Florida.

Nice round of golf!
Course was in pretty good shape, nice layout , food service was a little slow but the food was good too !!
The course was in descent shape. Most greens were good with descent speed. The tee boxes need some help. Pace of play was average. Staff was great. Would definitely play there again
Ordinary/boring/10 club rental
The layout is ordinary and boring… Green fairly slow and only one green had any kind of challenging undulations… One hole on the back nine from the gold tee had three tall palm trees, narrowing the fairway down to almost nothing… OK, if you’re a senior and you can launch your drive to at least 70 feet to clear the trees
Rented clubs and was shocked to see they were only 10 clubs in the bag, asked the young man before the round and he said that’s what the set is… Ask the older staff member after the round and he said he would check because he thought the sets were 14 clubs, Only to report back that those were the sets they got for rentals and the rental fee ($55) was cheaper than some other courses… The Cleveland irons were good, but the driver sucked, And with 10 clubs, there was no club in the set between a 75 yard sand wedge and a 105 yard pitching wedge… on the bright side, the cart girl got around the course quite nicely… should not have expected much more for a $58 round, with Cart
Redlands Golf course
The only bad issue here is people that don’t know how to play and there Is no golf courtesy at all. They need rangers out there get some of these people to move or get out of the way. That part is horrible at times.
Reviews are wrong about this place
I drove an hour and a half because I saw this place had great reviews. When arriving the staff was not friendly, there was no starter and it was just a free for all with tee times. Everyone says the greens are fast… they are not. The grass is not even growing correctly. The fairways were all crab grass about an inch in height. If you hit the fairways you are in the rough. The tee boxes were so bad that my driver hit a bump on my backswing which caused me to hit a terrible shot. I do not recommend this course, even for the money. I will not be coming back.
Nice course
Pace of play was slow, being a northerner had a little trouble with the Bermuda grass, but overall an enjoyable day
Worth the drive from Miami
Conditions were exceptional. Tee boxes could use a little more care but you could always find a good area to tee it up. Greens were fast and true.
Overall view
The course is in pretty good shape. Fairways are nicely cut the tea box is definitely needs some some tender, loving care and and basically the greens are running fast and in great shape. Hopefully they can continue to keep the greens in good shape and keeping them at the speed they are right now. Course is a good price good price for the money
Redland in great condition and greens are rolling well.
Great Price and Shape!
Miami has lost a lot of courses and most of them are not great. This is a great course with great value and worth the drive. I prefer it over Palmetto, Killian and some of the other lower tier ones. Will play again.
