About
Redland Golf & Country Club hosts numerous events each year, including the Homestead Amateur Golf Classic. The course has been a popular event venue since opening in 1947. The versatile layout is perfect for tournaments since it combines challenging holes with player-friendly features. The diverse sets of tees also add to the course's versatility. The back tees are a formidable test for seasoned golfers. Long, straight shots will be rewarded though if your shots are slightly errant, the golf course is still quite forgiving. The greens are small but they provide enough room to hit. It is tough at times and depending on the wind, it can be even more challenging. In addition to the golf course, Redland claims to have the best driving rang in south Florida.

Decent course, bad carts
We couldn't finish out round before it got dark as we had to wait not once but TWICE to get our carts replaced due to dead batteries. Come to find out this happens a lot lately, so it sounds like time for new carts or batteries. To make matters worse, the ProShop wouldn't give us a rain check for a shortened round (which was their fault) which was quite disappointing.
Great Value
First time player. Tee boxes are a little rough and need some TLC. Other than that the course was well laid out. Greens are small but in good shape for this time of year. Played 18 holes the front nine by myself and then hooked up with a foursome ahead of me for the back and finished in a little over three hours. Zero complaints and will be back.
Great value
Great course with full length, challenging layout. Big trees line the fairways, elevated greens in great condition. Needs fire ant mitigation. Employees are nice and welcoming. Restaurant serves decent club meals for unbeatable prices.
Staff
Restaurant staff was friendly the owner/manager friendly, the pro shop workers not friendly or very helpful, the cart boy not helpful at all. Price was good so if you are just looking for a place to golf and don’t care about atmosphere then it’s fine. Greens were slower than molasses though.
Good outing
The Pro Shop staff, and starters were friendly and welcoming. No one was ahead or behind us the whole morning which made for a relaxing morning. The course is in good condition. Greens a little slow. Not much water in play.
Made tee time on the application and when I got there, the have a tournament going on so we have to wait almost 2 hours. It will be nice if the application tell you those kind of things or if the course is not playable due to aired the greens or working on the course. I think all the players that used the app play a decent amount of money to be aware of those things, not get a surprise when you get to the course and you can’t get your money back.
Rain Check
Rain pour down on hole 7 and the course was closed but they did not offer a rain check to come back and play. Very disappointed. It was a part of my dad’s 80th and he was really looking forward to the round. If they closed the course they should have provided a rain check.
Beautiful Course, just need slight improvement
The more I play, the more I realize the importance of having a ranger, but other than that, this course is very nice.
