The Tee boxes and the Fairways are a little rough,but the greens were pretty good,I know they are working to improve the course hopefully won’t take long,also great value for the money,and the staff there are outstanding,nice place

The course is really chewed up. Tee boxes , fairways and greens in horrible shape. Certainly not worth $40 a round.

Love the layout . The greens are fine. The rest is a desert you have to find a weed to put your ball on because there is no grass in the fairways. A simple 50 cent red stickb at 100 yards would really help since markers are covered with desert sand.

Last time I played it was very good. I guess the rain did not help this piece of crap. Free golf balls on the range though and the pro shop lady was nice.

Great layout and staff but the fairways and Greg have gotten away from them.

The staff are great and the layout is challenging. But the tee boxes, fairways and greens are just fair.

Have played this course many, many years ago, always great to super great. So disappointed, the lady I played with used to play it in a traveling league and when I told her we were playing there she was thrilled, It was always beautiful when us ladies played there. She also was very Very disappointed. Where has good golf with decent prices gone? Hare for us seniors to pay that price and have to play on all that sand, fairways and greens. Horrible...

We paid $63 a player for a $25 course. The fairways are all weeds and dirt the greens are also horrible!

I would call it a cow pasture but even the cows wouldn’t come here! Tee boxes, fairways were all in horrible condition with barely a blade of grass to be found. Most of the greens were in decent condition and sand traps were in good shape but getting to the greens was a challenge when hitting off of dead grass and dirt, you would figure with all the rain we’ve had they would be able to straighten the place out. The pace of play was excellent because no one was there, a $20 dollar course at best.

Citrus National suffered during a spring drought and hasn’t recovered. The fairways and tee boxes were spotty with weeds in various places. The rough was super high in un-mowed grass and weeds. Maybe that gets a pass due to recent rains. The greens were terrible with large portions just wrecked. It is really a shame because the layout has great promise and it’s really close to me. But I’ve played my last round there unless there are dramatic improvements.

At the time of play the fairways were weedy and needed a good mowing, also, the greens lacked any “green”. Putting surface is sandy, crusty, and in a state of repair.

Really hard to see a beautiful course on such need of repair. I’ve tolerated the lack of grass in the fairways for the nice greens, but alas, they are becoming unputtable.

Will wait a while to see if they can turn it around before I try again.

Like the title says, this course is empty because it’s in really bad shape and the greens are an adventure to put it kindly🤣. For the price and if you want to hit all the drivers and irons you want it’s a decent deal. Just imagine spending $20 at the range but you are actually playing 18 holes.
