About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Too slow
Spread out the tee times please. Its not fun when you have to wait 15 minutes between shots.
Interesting course
I have played here quite a few times. The course is always in good shape. The staff is very friendly. And for a shorter course very challenging. I really enjoy playing it.
The Groves is the best!

Great Course
Very nice track not real long but the fairways and greens were really nice, the guy behind the counter and the starter were exceptionally gracious.

Fun day
I golfed with a friend and his group at The Meadows on 3/23. I also golfed The Groves a few weeks ago. Both courses are in great shape and although The Groves is an executive course that’s the most challenging course I’ve ever played. The lady who checked us in (from Illinois) was really nice and made everyone feel welcomed. Both courses are just beautiful and payed out very well. I will definitely play there again. Great bang for the buck. Thanks

Great course to play a round of golf
Have played many rounds of golf at the Groves ,it is our favorite course to play ! Check in is always fast and easy . The staff are always very friendly and helpful.
The Groves course is well kept and maintained with bathrooms and ice water available our on the course .
The Groves is a great golf course for beginners or a well seasoned player . Would recommend the Groves course to any one looking for a great round of golf ! ⛳

Great shorter course
Great shorter course, early tee times available, greens fast and in great shape, accuracy very important on some holes, very good bang for the buck

Short but nice
Very short course but has a little of everything. Course is in good condition, greens are full & smooth but just average speed

Great Golf
Excellent course for Senior players as well as advanced players. You just don't arrive at tee box & pull your driver. Have to think yourself around the challenging layout. Can't wait to play again.
Challenging short course
If you hit your irons straight you can score well. Shot placement is key to a low score. May only need a driver on 4 holes maximum. Fairways were in very good condition and the speed of the greens surprised me as in the past they had been slow. This time the ball rolled very well.

Turn on my friends to it, they love it too!
All the staff and course workers are very friendly and accommodating!
Today I was paired with two college students.
They played the Blue pro tees, topping the ball, hitting an average of 50 yards.
I tried to help them play better and faster, but to no avail.
After holding everyone up, we finally made it to a the back 9. Or so I thought. They both said they’re stopping for a 30 min break!
Best thing that ever happened to me!
Caught up with a 3 some, played with them!
They were good golfers
Anyway I scored a 39 on the front and a 33 on the back.
Big difference!
This great executive course is fascinating and the pace of play usually moves right along!

Always good
Groves was in good shape. For a Florida course in March which gets a lot of pressure, its in good shape. 4-5 of the greens were like putting on my driveway (exaggeration) but overall very pretty course in nice neighborhood and nice people.
