About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Always good
Groves was in good shape. For a Florida course in March which gets a lot of pressure, its in good shape. 4-5 of the greens were like putting on my driveway (exaggeration) but overall very pretty course in nice neighborhood and nice people.

Great staff and course
In comparison to other courses in the area, this is one of the best. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course is in excellent condition. The fairways are a little narrow and water and sand come into play on most holes. The greens a big and consistent. Over all a great deal for the price.

Great Greens
Always enjoy playing here. Greens are as good/better than any course in the greater Tampa Bay area
While the overall layout is short, the holes are designed so that you have to think your way around this course.

Excellent course
I have played The groves many times and it never ceases to amaze me how well kept it is... The tee boxes the fairways the bunkers and the greens are in excellent condition... I would highly recommend this course... The staff is very friendly.. I would give it 10 Stars if I could...AAA+++

Course is in great shape, pace of play also very good and the best part is the staff. They actually are glad you are there and go above and beyond to ensure you have an enjoyable experience.

Not children friendly
Tee time was at 3:00 PM, golf carts had to be back at club house by 6:00 PM. Pace of play was slow only could get in 9 holes paid for 18. tried to get some money back for the last 9 but they refused.
If carts have to be back to clubhouse by 6:00 PM they should tell you before your round and or tell you to only book 9 Holes.
Had my son and grandkids with us and the kids rode with my son on a golf cart and we were told only 2 people to a cart, Yet there was a couple with a dog on there cart hmmmm, The Groves is not kid friendly been golfing there for 4 years. I will no longer golf at The Groves

Best bang for your buck
The golf course is in the best shape than many of the golf courses near by. The staff is always friendly and they are always doing something to improve the course. The course is very challenging with every golfer in mind.
