About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Great Course
Two problems first the other golfers rude and in a hurry. One guy stood in the tee hand on hip while we were putting finally hit a ball passed us The couple in front of us were slow. Maybe they will go back up north soon.
Second food not as good as it once was and very expensive.

The only problem I have with the course is hole number 18 I hate it lol

Good course to play lots of fun
Course is in good shape, fairways have grass and greens are fast, tee offs are also good. Had to wait when we got there, there was a small tournament and we started 15 minutes late, first nine was slow but the tournament was only for nine holes after it was perfect. Not a long course but it is fun to play.

Layout
Course is spread out through the local community. Course was fun to play and was pleasurable driving through the streets and seeing the various golf carts parked at the homes. Will definitely play this course again.

Fast greens
Finished in 2.5 hours with minimal waiting. The two par 5s should really be strategic 4s, most of the par 4s have driveable greens. Will play again

Good course if you know the particulars
We were excited to play The Groves but the starter quickly informed us that there were about 36 people playing in a special “play nine and dine”. Since we weren’t informed, we had to either play the back nine or wait hours. We believe that when checking in, we should have been informed.
