About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Worse then slow
We have always played here and no issues, however we teed off on Friday at 11:50 and it was so slow that it took us 4 1/2 hours for the round. Only time we saw the Marshall was when we teed off. It was very frustrating as there was always two groups waiting to tee off on every hole! We love this course and will play again just not on fridays!

We had an outside group that brought more people than they told us, so we tried to accommodate them which slowed down play for everyone afterwards. great short course
course in really good condition for January. Staff is friendly, Greens are better than most in area. little over 3 hrs to play

Great staff great layout - well maintained
Although you won’t break out your driver that much this course is challenging and fun. If you don’t have 4-5 hours to golf you can play all 18 in under 4 hours. Price is extremely reasonable for the condition of the course which is well maintained. If you’re just learning or an experienced golfer this course is well worth your time.

The Groves is always a fun course to play...while not overly long ( only about 4000 yds from the tips ) it can be a bit challenging for a high handicapper as there is plenty of water hazards and tight fairways to negotiate. The greens were nice and fast ...fairways mowed close.....in short, the course was in great condition....looking forward to returning again someday soon....

Decent Executive Course
In decent shape Some tee boxes need work. Short par 4 and 5. As a visitor who didn’t trust airlines with clubs I decided to rent clubs. Not a good idea. Brutal rentals. Old top flite clubs.
