About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

One of my Favorites
This is great place to play! As a higher handicapper I struggle on the longer courses, even when playing from the Forward tees. This place has it all and at 4000 yards doesn't crush me. I like it so much more than "Executive" courses which tend to be very short. If I lived closer, I would join as a member.
Great little course
Good T blocks, excellent greens. Interesting course layout. Best short course ever played. Good staff. Only thing missing is there is little on the way of snack foods in the restaurant/bar. Play the course often, with pleasure.

Difficult Setup
Course great as always. Greens always tough but the current setup was almost un-puttable. Rock hard and pin placements on unreadable angles. Water the darn greens and soften them up so a decent approache will stay on the green!! Place pins where a decent putt goes in! Don't claim "busy" and force twosome to pair up. Not cool. Don't allow groups and outing to eat up all the desirable tee times.

Saturday Morning around
Played on a Saturday morning and finished 18 holes in a little over 2 hours. Course was in very good shape. Plenty sand in the bunkers, fairways were in good shape and the greens rolled true. Will be back when I'm looking for a course where I can work on approach shots inside of 100 yards.

Good easy course poor staff
Course is an easy short one. Super fun to play. Great for the price. Not much for food and most of the staff was rude.

Great course
Was great little course. Only problem was foursome of new golfers ahead of us playing extremely slowly without letting us play through. They left after 9 and back was great
