Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Fairways and greens in great shape.

Really nice challenging exec par 3. Definitely will be back with a different approach to some holes that I made a lot of ball donations on. I’m looking at you holes 4 & 18. You haven’t seen the last of me ya filthy animal!

Don't pass this course up

Don't think about the yardage. Play it as another golf course. After the round, share your comments.

The friendliness and down to earth service in the Pro shop will get your attention, as well as other staff.

Nothing fancy but a lot of professional caring people providing a very good product. It was a very enjoyable day playing golf.

Worse then slow

We have always played here and no issues, however we teed off on Friday at 11:50 and it was so slow that it took us 4 1/2 hours for the round. Only time we saw the Marshall was when we teed off. It was very frustrating as there was always two groups waiting to tee off on every hole! We love this course and will play again just not on fridays!

We had an outside group that brought more people than they told us, so we tried to accommodate them which slowed down play for everyone afterwards.
