About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Greens were really excellent. Fairways narrow. Lots of water and bends on the way to the greens
Great Course
Great course for all levels and for sharpening your iron game. It’s in great condition, and they’ve really taken care of the course over the last couple of years. GPS on the carts are nice, too. Staff is always friendly and it’s a good value for the price.

Pure short course
Purest course I’ve played in a while. Very fun. Every single hole is gettable but if you miss it will the pressure on you!

Wonderful short course
The Groves has become one of our regular and favorite courses in the Tampa Bay Area. It's always well maintained, nice sand in the bunkers, greens that roll out true and which are constantly being improved and a great staff.

The Groves is always in fine condition.....while not overly long, it can be difficult in spots if you spray your shots....thee is plenty of water and tight fairways ...the greens are fast and cut close....fairways nice and wide on most holes....the staff is always accommodating and willing to let us tee off early....it's always fun playing there....looking forward to returning again someday soon....

Course in great shape & challenging
The course is in great shape and challenging for the length. The staff was excellent and very friendly. I have never had a bad time playing there. looking forward to going back.

Good Value
Wanted to get in a quick 18. Not a long course but you need to think about your tee shots. Misplace a tee shot and you’ll bring a bogey or worse into play. Some tee boxes were a bit beat up but that happens. Fairways were good. Greens were slow but rolled true.

Shorter course but love to play it! U c a n have birdie chances but also enough water & bunkers to give u trouble!

Just terrific
My golf partner and I play different clubs all over central Florida, yet we keep coming back to The Groves because it's simply one of the best. The course is short, but challenging and always in excellent condition. The greens are nice size and roll out true. The staff is friendly and helpful, the carts and cart paths are in good shape and the surroundings are picturesque. A terrific place to play a fun round of golf.

Fast greens
Awesome course, great place to work on your short to mid range game. Greens are super fast. Some drivable par 4’s. Will play again.

Fantastic course for the money
This was a great course for the money and also a great course to bring beginners. They were also very friendly and accommodating to have my 7 year old ride along as he is just learning and getting exposed to the game! Can’t wait to get out again!
