Designed by Joe Lee this 18-hole semi-private course has beautifully contoured wide fairways . Sparkling lakes are abundant and the bunkers are strategically positioned on the open fairways and around the greens.
The low-cut rough and tiered greens make it player-friendly and fun.

Slow Pace of play
Pace of play was the worst I’ve ever played. Took nearly 6 hours. Partners we played with got so drunk they peed all over the place. Ranger would drive by and wouldn’t say a word. Terrible won’t play again. Go somewhere else.
Winston Trails is a solid track
Played WT several times; course layout and condition are always good but, this year we were marooned behind several groups playing a scramble format. The round took well over 5 hours and the ranger made no attempt to ask these groups to speed things along. The extreme slow play was quite aggravating and severely hampered any rhythm whatsoever.
Course was a mess
The course was really sloppy and not what I was expecting for the money. Last time I was there a year or so ago it was gorgeous. Very far from that this time.
Course was decent and cart girl was active but all the other staff had a terrible attitude like you aren’t supposed to play there.
Greens were perfect, Fairways were in great shape also
It was a very enjoyable day out there, I wish the pace of play was better, but overall, we had a great time would definitely play there again.
Good condition and good layout. Playable for all skill levels. Greens are on the slower side but did roll true. Excellent Value for afternoon tee times

For the money was expecting the course to be in better shape. Carts have GPS which did not show distances which made it much more difficult first time playing the course

Beautiful day and course ruined by a 5 hour round .
Fun Florida Golf
WT has wide fairways that are relatively flat. Nothing crazy. Fairly easy to figure out where to hit the ball. Water comes into play frequently. Sand traps are in great condition (ahem...speaking from experience). Greens are firm, cut tight and roll well. It was a very windy day which added a level of difficulty, and not out of the ordinary. Warm up on the practice green, driving range, chipping green, or practice trap. It was a very enjoyable afternoon and I would consider playing here again.
