About
Formerly known as Grand Lacuna Golf Club, this par-71 championship course now goes by the name Atlantic National Golf Club. Designed in the late 1980s by Joe Lee, the course was designated one of the 50 best public courses in Florida. The challenging layout has plenty of variety that will require all different types of shots. Golfers will find that they need to use every club in their bag. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the strategically placed bunkers that lurk along the greensides and fairways are particularly tricky. There are some tough holes but it is an accommodating layout for all skill levels, especially since it has four diverse sets of tees. In addition to the golf course, Atlantic National offers a grass driving range, two putting greens, and a chipping area with a practice bunker.

Great Golf Course
Fun golf course well-maintained and friendly staff. However, make sure to take food with you, there is NOrestaurant or food on site.

Try this course
Efficient check in, nice range and real grass and no mats, thank you! Very friendly staff including the ranger, finished in 4 hours with hardly a push from the group behind us. Course is a little dry , could use some watering. I like it and I will bring friends here. Just add some water on the greens and fairways please !

Had to check it out
I have a friend visiting in a couple of weeks and planned on Atlantic National being one of the courses we visit. After reading a couple of reviews complaining about conditions I thought I better check it out. For those who complained I have a comment. Try playing in the fairway. Conditions aren’t perfect but far from warranting a complaint. Greens are fast, some a little sandy. I’ve always enjoyed the layout. I’m definitely bringing my friend here for a round.

Atlantic National
My favorite course in Palm Beach County.
Always in great condition and plays longer then the yardage.
Players on the course let us play through so the pace of play was very good.
The clubhouse has completely closed and that’s sad.

Very disapointed in Lack of food and Drink
For the price that I Paid I expect to have cerntain amenities.
I understand that we went through Covid, However every other golf course is Fully open. Your lack of planning is not our fault. Finally saw a food art on the 15th hole when I'm ready to finish our round, and they sold out of many Items including sandwiches.

To expensive,
To expensive, carts hard to steer, shut off for everything even on car paths, had to spend my day going in reverse.
Thank you NICKASH02 for taking time to leave a review. Due to the current dry course conditions, it appears that you should be able to drive the golf cart anywhere. However, excessive golf cart traffic causes damage. We utilize our gps system to help limit excessive wear in these areas. We recognize the perimeter boundaries are not perfect. Fastest Greens in Town!
Awesome course! Greens are lightning fast. Only negative is the starter has to learn how to smile and welcome guests with a little more professionalism. Otherwise, great layout and challenging course with the numerous bunkers in play. Stay below the hole! :-)

Good course ZERO amenities and rushed
While I liked the course there are NO Club Style amenities….COVID is kinda over…..you need a restaurant, coffee machine, hot plate……SOMETHING..
Also for $100 green fee I dont want to be told I am playing 3 minutes over our ALLOTTED average round time and followed by an “ assistant”….fix these issues and My friends and I will play here again….otherwise..hello Atlantis, Winston Trails, Links at Boynton or Westchester.

Good Golflcourse
It is a pity that 4 holes of this good Golf Course are only a few yards away from Floridas Turnpike and very loud from permanent traffic!
After you have left those behind you, it is a very enjoyable experiences!
