About
Miami Springs Golf & Country Club dates back to 1925, making it one of the oldest courses in the area. The club is the original home of the Miami Open and it has hosted many notable players over the years including Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. The golf course has become a local favorite over the years, offering a round that is both challenging and affordable. The golf course has a traditional design with narrow fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are small and subtly undulating. It's a layout that demands accuracy and careful course management will be generously rewarded. You won't find too much water on the golf course but there are some strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. Miami Springs Golf & C.C. has some tricky holes but it's not overly difficult for the high handicapper.

Something rotten…
The stench is unbearable at this course. Now sure if it is sewage, dead animals, or what. But the smell is pervasive and it is horrible. The actually course is a throwback. Greens were pretty nice, and the course has great bones, just needs some money put into it.
First Course we have played in Miami, so have no benchmarks to compare. Seems like a pretty average course.

I had fun!
I had an enjoyable round. The greens were in good condition. The tee boxes could use a little love. Not many hazards, so I didn’t lose a ball.
I would play again, price was a little high from a value perspective, but I’m sure that is driven by the central location, which I surely appreciated.

Dog Track
I just don’t get Florida golf. You either pay $$$$ for a decent course or you pay more than a round at a golf course in New England and it turns out to be a dog track.

What the **** happened ?
I don't know when this course started thinking it was better than it was. I used to like playing here. But the last two times I have come here it has been very poor. The pace of play was horrid. We had 2 4somes ahead of us and no ranger to enforce the pass rule. The course it self was in horrible condition. Dirt everywhere, tee boxes were chunked, greens had sand lines everywhere. This course has for some reason increased its rates all the whole lowering its quality. I had a bad outing before and gave it one last chance........I'm out. The quality is no where near worth the price.

Good course for beginners!
It was a fun course to play as a beginner because I was very unlikely to lose a ball. The course has some challenging greens and long par 4s.

Nice course, needs some work
Overall the course was in good condition, but if I had to pick one area for improvement I would say the tee boxes are in desperate need of attention.

Not worth it
Based on other players rating at 4 and 5, i gave the club a chance. Mistake!
We were « welcome » by the starter who told us to take a cart, without stopping watching his phone.
Tee boxes are uneven and sandy. See pictures
Greens are sandy too, would need to be rolled so our ball would go straight.
Absolutely not worth 4 or 5. I gave à 3 because of attracting price

Nice Course/Enjoyable Round
Came down to Miami from Virginia to get out of the cold and played this course for the first time. Course was in good shape and the staff was friendly and helpful. Despite a crowded tee sheet we played in 4 hrs 15 minutes. Course was fun to play and a great experience for the price we paid. We will be in Miami for 10 more days and will definitely play this course again at least once before leaving.
