About
Miami Springs Golf & Country Club dates back to 1925, making it one of the oldest courses in the area. The club is the original home of the Miami Open and it has hosted many notable players over the years including Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. The golf course has become a local favorite over the years, offering a round that is both challenging and affordable. The golf course has a traditional design with narrow fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are small and subtly undulating. It's a layout that demands accuracy and careful course management will be generously rewarded. You won't find too much water on the golf course but there are some strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. Miami Springs Golf & C.C. has some tricky holes but it's not overly difficult for the high handicapper.

Open flat layout little water
The wife and I enjoyed our round here. We are beginning golfers who started this summer. I am a breaking 100 golfer from 6000+ yard tees where she is a breaking 120 golfer from the forward tees.
I shot a 101 this day wife shot a 124.
This course is open with trees lining the fairways very nicely kept. Fairly easy course I felt with a couple of holes with water hazards that require proper course management.
Fairways were in good condition for this round I would give them a 7/10.
Greens were what would consider speedy but not overly fast in pretty good condition had the occasional weed or sandy spot though on a couple greens. 8/10.
Sand traps had nice variety even a Fazio level on on a par 3. 8/10.
Tee boxes were in ok shape prob the worst part of the course however. 7/10.
We can’t wait to go back then the trees are all in bloom in purples reds and pinks.

Average muni
When we got to the course, we couldn't find the guy who's supposed to hand out carts. Waited for 10 minutes, finally got cart. Pace of play not good, have to wait on every hole. Course condition is like a muni. Layout is not memorable.

Miami Springs was a fun round
The course was in good shape and the pace of play was good. It was a very pleasant day. They had some work being done on the course causing a little extra work to go around but overall, the course was in good shape.

What happened here ?
I used to play this course a lot. It was always moderately priced and in fair to good condition. But around 2 years ago their price went up more than 35%. I avoided it thinking they must have up-ed their course and are targeting the more "exclusive" players. However, curiosity got the best of me and I decided to try it out. NOTHING CHANGED. In fact, things look like they got worse. The tee boxes are horrible. The staff always was a bit standoff-ish. The course had its cosmetic issues (still haven't been addressed). All in all the price they have been charging for this course doesn't match the ROI. For this price, add another 10-20 bucks and go to Biltmore or maybe even Melreese. Heck even Micco. This course is nothing but 5 star price with a 3 star product.

Solid
Played on a Sunday so average pace of play. Course in good overall condition. Tee boxes a little beat up. Greens very nice. Fairways good. I’ll definitely return. Course should remove cart fees for walkers.

Good course for the price.
The staff was very friendly. The course was in decent shape. The tee boxes were not leveled as in other courses that I played before. The ball was either above or below your feet. The course could use a little maintenance.

Fun Course
A little long so I played up to shorter tees. Some but not a lot of danger Off the tee. Fairways pretty wide. Greens were above average. Would definitely play again if I get the chance.
